As revealed by The Walt Disney Company today, Disney+ has been given a new startup screen, complete with a new logo animation, a gorgeous new color, and orchestral mnemonic created by Academy Award®-winning composer Ludwig Göransson.
The change is being made to coincide with the launch of “Hulu on Disney+”, which has exited its beta testing and is now available, in a full experience, for Disney Bundle subscribers.
“The color is named Aurora, both for the aurora borealis, but also as an homage to Princess Aurora,” Joe Earley, the President of Direct-to-Consumer, Disney Entertainment, said in a statement today. “It’s beautiful, a bit more adult, and signals a change.”
