This is just a change in the Slayer mythos.. even if they don't tour anymore, their music remains, the legend is there.. every year new fans discover this amazing band.
Saw them on Haunting the Chapel tour, once on the Hell Awaits, twice on Raining Blood & once on South of Heaven tour?out of all those?seeing them with Exodus & Venom on the Ultimate Revenge in Hollywood here in l.a. in 85' was sickest of all?that scene was the best ever
I saw them in Salem Va on November 5. I’d been wanting to see them live since I was a young kid! Never got the chance until I was 40! It was everything I hoped it would be and more! And my daughter was there with me and she loved the show and that made it even better for me! Long live the almighty SLAYER!
I find it interesting that his last words were, "You guys be safe." He talks like a dad now, even a grand dad. When I saw them in 1986, the last thing he would have ever said was, "You guys be safe." Things have changed. The golden era is over, and it's been over for a very very long time.
25:53 I like how Kerry is showing off to the crowd and Tom is just chilling there 😂 Tom surely doesn't need to prove anything. We know and he knows that he's been the frontman of fuckin' Slayer for 40 years, and all he needs to do is just show himself and speak a few words and the crowd goes nuts with that alone. That's why Tom staring at the crowd after the 2 shows that I saw from the final world tour was the coolest thing I have ever seen!
I live in Russia and cryin too, cause I’ll never get to see this great group... in July 2019 in Moscow i see the great Metallica show... I’m listening this groups from 97 ...
I've listening Slayer since the 80s. Never really "got them" until I saw them live at The Big 4 on the Indio polo grounds. Never missed a chance to see the show since. show
Seen them at Taxslayer arena with my 15 and 13 yr sons first concert none of us got any good footage could not stop headbanging love you guys seen you at least 20 times
@@KCNYC Cool, I have seen them all so many times and Taxslayer had the best sound system out of the countless venues i have been to. Figured save the moment I had with my sons.

Saw them back in 2016 in Houston. Best most intense and life changing show I have ever experienced. I love this band and I will always have a slayer story to take with me to my grave. 🤘
They did the right thing. Slayer were never bigger. The show was absolutely amazing with the lights, digital graphics, the pyrotechnics. They went out on top!!!! Tom seemed tired during many shows just standing in place staring off into space. We can all remember Slayer as the band that ended their careers at the height of their powers.
I was blessed to see slayer 2 times and they put on the best show that I ever seen . and I seen bands like motley crue , machine head , bad brains , corrosion of conformity , and some great bands . and slayer put on the best show out of everybody . they the # 1 thrash band of all time and they should be in the rock n roll hall of fame
Was right on the barricade enjoying the crush...finally had to get a beer and a water to recoup. They got into War Ensemble as I got in line...bummage. At least I didn't have to watch the show through a phone.
Slayer,ты навсегда останешься для меня началом всех начал.Началом всего тяжёлого из музыки..да именно ты.И нет никакой пятёрки или четверки.есть только слэер..Only Slayer/number one!!!
Slayer was and is forever an amazing band. Those guys really created something amazing. Luckily I managed to see their performing last time live in Helsinki Finland during summer 2019!🥁🎸🔥🇫🇮 REST IN PEACE Jeff Hanneman
Thank you Slayer for being my friend throughout my life!! R.I.P. Jeff Hanneman!!!! The GREATEST Thrash Metal band of All-Time!!!! FUCKIN SLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First time I seen slayer it was south of heaven tour it was overkill slayer and Motörhead at the ignora ballroom west Hartford ct. anybody remember the slayer wermacht fan club
I was at this show; alot of people don't know the floor was split between standing pit and seated section. The recording looks like he was behind the rail barrier dividing the 2. But the standing GA was nuts lol
i know what you mean everyone would use their lighters 20 years ago that was it and they would not allow cameras either, times have changed so much in such a short amount of time but like someone said without the phones we would not have these videos to watch
It does suck being down on the floor trying to enjoy the show but everyone is blocking your view with their phones. So what do I do?... I do it too! ;)
Of course we have footage of these shows, because there i always someone who would record it from a better position with better sound, like since the 70s. I doubt that. When King drop his Chain on stage that was it
Seems pretty much the end, seen loads of band retire then return, but this feels for real.
kevin thatcher yes me To when King drop the chain on stage that was Final End ....
Will never be another band like SLAYER again 🔥
True enough. The time when music truly was a force if it is even music anymore has long since passed
This makes me feel so sad. I'm heartbroken. Can't imagine my life without SLAYER
Don't worry, man. They'll reunite in the future.
You should listen to Amazing Grace by Elvis Presley. That'll make you feel better.
you'll live........
I am sure that they feel the same lol
That's why they made albums.. immortalized.
Love how Tom is just standing there, taking it all in, and reflecting on the memories. Thank you for the decades of badass metal!
