If you just want to "picnic" with sandwiches, chips, and sodas, a plastic cooler would be a better choice; the hand-made hamper is designed or a more formal or traditional.
But you are correct about how to use the insulated bag. I put an icepack in mine, and put the whole thing in the big desk drawer.
Great video! Cute picnic basket. I've always wondered, with this type of basket, if you have to put the food in sideways to prevent the food from leaking out of its container when you turn the basket to hold it by the handle?

There was no mention of how you could pack the wine glasses. That is more important than the other utensils.

Edit:also where did you put the other two spoon forks and knife i was confused cause it did say 4x spoon forks and knifes
