That was one of the best games of the year. It was an epic golden point period until the Burgess high tackle. I would love to have seen them slug it out. The high tackle gave Sharks the win.
Hardly gave them the win. Even if the tackles clean, Sharks we’re still at half way 2nd tackle.

Marty, you need to have a closer look. Burgess's arm actually hits the ball and slides upwards from there. Why would any player want to deliberately lose a game, particularly straight after he had made a brilliant run which should have set up a win?

Constantly allowing forward passes, robbed the Tigers of a win, and nearly did it to Cronulla. The NRL's golden boy sure came up small in golden point! There's no denying Mitchell's ability. And he can certainly nail the long range kicks. But I don't know if he has the consistency to be the full time kicker? Entertaining game, with a foolish ending!
