The filming, editing, presentation, choice of music and the level of volume it gets played back on this site is superb! This site truly deserves way more subscribers, but if you're not a botoxed up influencer or a 4x4 owner, who's sponsored by every after market 4x4 outlet in Australia, it's going to take a little longer! Keep up the good work! Regards Gary Perth WA
Thanks Gary, Really appreciate the feedback, learning a little more with every one I do, and trying to keep it simple and low key, there are more than enough Pros out there doing the high intensity sponsored stuff, so I'll leave that to them. Thanks again for the encouraging words.
I've just discovered this channel and am now going to start watching back at the beginning. I have subscribed. I love the Cerami comments. So true. I wish I'd said that !!!!
Hi John welcome to the channel, i hope you enjoy the vids and thanks for subscribing.
By the time you get through the back catalogue i hope we have started to post a few new ones 😃
Cheers Andrew
The blue hole is so beautiful ❤❤❤
So informative... both visually and vocally. Love how you visit places and do things most others don't on their channels.
Hi Steve, sorry for the late response I haven't had the laptop out for some time to check on the comments.... so thanks for dropping us a line👍
We love to get to some of the lesser-known spots as these have just as much to offer as the "A" list, and an even better reason is, that there is often hardly anyone there, so you get it to yourself. We really enjoy seeking out these hidden gems and talking to the locals you get great info on the good spots worth looking for.
So glad you are enjoying the vids.
Cheers

@@TerraRoundOz thank you. You guys are the age of my wife and I, and seem to enjoy similar activities in travel. This certainly makes following your exploits enjoyable for us. I know you can't travel Aussie and make YT vids forever, but we'll keep watching while you do 👍
We are following this coast now cheers for the tips

Hi Sue so glad you like the channel, it's no Game of Thrones but I'm working on it 🙃.
We can not wait to get back on the road again. We are hoping to get down to the south west corner of WA in March and April and covid willing into SA and the NT so fingers crossed.

Hi Allan & Sonya thanks for the encouraging words. We cant wait to get going again and it would be great to catch up on the road. Keep an eye out for us 👍 cheers Andrew
The wife and I are slowly working our way through your videos, seen most but not all yet. May we say how much we have enjoyed viewing them and the excellent job you have done putting them together. It is good to watch something that isn’t trying to sell something through sponsorships. Love the videos, now a subscriber to your Chanel.
Hi Mick, Thanks so much for the kind words, we are stoked you are enjoying the vids and thanks for subscribing. It is great to know people find them a little informative as we certainly used RUclips to help us plan our travels.
So welcome to the club I hope you enjoy the stuff coming up as well.

Just found your channel. Great videos and perfect source of information for our next 4WD trip. Greetings from Europe!
Hi Sven.
Welcome to the Channel, I'm glad you are enjoying the videos, hopefully not to much longer and you can travel freely all around Australia. There are some amazing spots to enjoy.
I think you are our first European commenter so thanks for dropping us a line.

Nice vids, am planning for our own trip, just need to get last son through high school then we are off. Very inspiring.
Hi Cath, it will be on your door step before you know it. we were planning for over two years and I woke up one morning and thought 'holy moly, I better resign we leave in two months. So many have the dream but never turn it into a plan, it is the biggest step deciding to actually make the jump and do it. You'll love it there are so many wonderful places. Cheers Andrew
Thanks for your videos. Loving the quality and content - well done and the best to both of you!
Thanks so much Blairgowrie, really appreciate the feedback. Hope we can get back on the road again soon and showcase a little of the south coast of WA in March and April.
Thanks again

That blue hole on the reef was amazing
Hi. Yes it is an amazing spot. We have been back again and explored it a little more, there is a great swim through leading out to the open water which is really cool.
Cheers Andrew
Nice video, mate.

This video does not help me with my dreams of moving to Australia..so well done I suppose lol. Great video, living the dream matey
: ) You know what they say, turn that dream into a Plan, you'll never look back.

Very interested in your review/opinion of the ISUP kayak conversion. We are about to buy some for our new van due in a couple of weeks as I don't want to haul our rigid sit on tops around any more. Love the content.
Hi Craig.
We love the SUPs they were around $270 each from Kings and seem to be holding up no problem. We have used them at Exmouth Cape Range camp sites and Cape Leveque and also down here at Esperance.
The Kayak seat Lisa uses is from Anaconda it is the Delux version there was a cheaper one but it seemed a little flimsy. It clips on to the existing 4 rings in the deck of the SUP.
Lisa has no problem with it and she can often out paddle me when I am standing on mine..
So no problems at all and we certainly rate the setup.
One thing I would recommend is a 12v pump to help inflate them. They do take a fair bit to pump up to pressure. I have a Ryobi battery pump but it is designed for air mattresses and I still need to put in 100 pumps by hand to get the SUPs up to 12psi. You can now get 12v pumps designed for SUPs so it is worth looking into.
Cheers Andrew
Craig. Did you see I have just posted a video on the SUP setup which may interest you.
Cheers Andrew
@@TerraRoundOz very grateful for the Isup update. We are about to purchase the same ourselves.
Love the videos but would be interested in your opinion on the addition of the vans outside kitchen and would you do it again as a value proposition, regards
@@craigsmith7807
We love the pull out kitchen and use it all the time when possible. The only things that force us to cook inside are bugs and wind. Would we do it again, we have discussed this a lot and the answer is yes but differently. We wouldn't go for the full dometic slide out, too expensive and too heavy and not great in the wind. We would do a slide out bench with a baby Webber and a Colman hyperfllame 2 burner stove. We would keep the sink and plumed hot and cold water as well as a draw.
But in saying that we still love the setup we have but it could be improved.
Cheers Andrew
Are there any facilities at Anna Station or do you need to be self contained? Thanks
Hi Steve, they have Power, water, showers and toilets. There is no shop, nearest is 200k away so you just need to be stocked up with food, beer & bait
Considering a trip like this. Any advice for the best weather? I am thinking of February 2023. We are from the US, considering renting a camper van in Perth and driving North. Wonderful video.
Hi Campilindo.
Feb is not a good time to go as it is the wet season up north and it is also very hot and humid with the average temp up around 110 F
With the wet season a lot of the dirt roads will also be closed. The best time is from May to September, this is the dry season and temps are much nicer and all roads will be open unless there is unseasonal rainfall. If you can time it outside school holidays then the crowds and also much smaller and accommodation is easier to find. If you are inside the holiday periods then bookings are essential for all prime locations in the north of WA .
Hope this is a little helpful.
Cheers Andrew & Lisa
@@TerraRoundOz information helps very much. I shall look up dates of school holidays and attempt to work around them. Some years ago I drove Cains to Sydney and enjoyed it very much. Driving on left side of road for the first time and all went well. Thank you for your help!
Hi guys Love your video’s. Are you able to let me know what chairs you are using? You had them on the beach in this video. We are looking for comfort but trying to keep weight down. As always in caravan life haha. Tha thanks so much. Lin
Hi Lin.
Yes the chair debate is a hot one. The ones you saw are from BCF and are the Wanderer brand with the side table. However we have now gone to a Dune brand from Anaconda that reclines. They are really good, not too heavy and a little more comfy.
Cheers Andrew & Lisa
@@TerraRoundOz thanks Andrew & Lisa, I will have a look at chairs on website. Hope to see you out there one day. We take delivery of our van in January. Fingers crossed. We are planning the Big Lap. Cannot wait, exciting times ahead. Stay safe.
@@TerraRoundOz thank you much appreciated.
Hi, where do you store your paddle boards? We have a very similar set up to you and wondered if you thought it was worth taking them? We are heading to the Gibb and Kimberley area.
Hi Helen, we had them in the back seat area, one on the floor and the second on the seat.
There was really nowhere on the Gibb that you could use them, due to crocks and the fact the gorges were all quite a walk from the car parks so it would be a long way to carry them, maybe Mount Barnett would be the only place you could really use them easily.
However we had great use of them in Exmouth and Cape Leveque.
We would definitely take them again when we get back on the road.
Cheers
Andrew
Enjoying the video guys
Can you drive directly onto the beach at Barn Hill
What was the flies situation when you was there ?
Hi Carramar1
You can drive down to the water to launch your boat but they don't let you drive along the beach at all.
We had no problems with flies at all during either of our stays at Barn Hill.
Cheers Andrew & Lisa
Really enjoying your videos. The filming, music and over all presentation is top notch. One question: where do you store your kayaks? Cheers
Hi Louise.thanks so much for your words of support we really appreciate it.
What you see us paddling around are inflatable Stand Up Paddle boards.
Lisa has a kayak seat she attaches to hers as she is not so keen on the stand up bit.
They pack down to a large back pack size and we store them on the floor of the back seat of the Landcruiser.
We love them and used them whenever we were near the water for a couple of days.
Cheers Andrew
no salties in that creek?
@xisotopex I'd never say no with any certainty, but the regulars tell me they have never seen any.
Looking back it was a little foolish 🫢
I’m driving home from Broome right now
Ahhh... ok!
When’s the rig showing coming? Also, I’ll comment again once I’ve watched the entire series
😃 I've thought about it, but the rig is nothing too special. Maybe one quiet day when we hit the road in March ill put something together👍
Lemon sharks can have a nasty temper. Have had a few interesting moments with them at Ningaloo.
Hi Sue.
Yes the closest I like to get to a lemon is in my G&T 🍹🤪
@@TerraRoundOz .., Had so many close calls with Lemons, including having my fin bitten, that now I only use lime in my G&T.

OK you have me scratching my head.... what is Warralong??
