I think that having Arthur not smile and Michael smile represents himself as the balance between both. When the camera pans on Tommy, you see he has a slight smile. I think this signifies that Tommy can either be your best friend… or your worst enemy. Also representing both his business mind, as well as as his “gangster” mind. Very well done.

The way Arthur straightens up when Tommy puts the phone down. Up till then, he probably thought "Yeah yeah, another 'bad guy'" but when Tommy lets out that breath, Arthur can tell just how stressed meeting this mystery man has Tommy, and it puts him even more on edge.
At this point, theres not many people, if any, that would be able to shake the Shelby brothers..
but when Arthur noticed Tommy taking a deep breath to calm himself at 1:15, thats when he realized theyre about to meet a very dangerous man
waging war without a single bullet. Poetic.
In this series , Mosley was a master at pressing people's buttons to piss people off .
People may feel anger is justified , but it also indicates a loss of control .

When I watch a show or series that I really love, I will watch it several more times. The Peaky Blinders and the Game of Thrones are two of the most entertaining series that I have ever witnessed in my 66 years. The acting is superb. Like the music from the 60s, the British today is the best.
Everyone saying Moseley lives to old age, did you forget how this show started? The real Peaky Blinders were wiped out by Billy Kimber. The whole premise of this show is a, "what if history was different?" hypothetical.
The cigarette is very important in this scene. You can see Mosley ashing it on the floor, and throwing it on the floor to stomp it out during his exit. Who knew how much cigarettes could actually communicate?
+ asking for the cigarette and then throwing the lighter rudely back onto the table
It’s funny how the show makes Mosley look formidable in this scene but bitch him out once Jack Nelson appears lol
So true he was so damn high threat here i was thinking holy f tommy just found unbeatable man and then Nelson appeard and Mosley somehow became nobody XD.. Sad
It's a shame that storyline got abandoned. The series finale left a lot unresolved.

I disagree . Advisor or not , as part of the room and conversation it is actually important to engage. I think Michael was trying to ease the tension by introducing Arthur and himself. Tommy also did say Michael should smile kind of good cop bad cop like. This could have been a good strategy but as it turned out , there was no appeasing this fella .
