If this scene were in VR Troopers Decimator: It’s over here, sire. General Ivar and Colonel Icebot would like to wish you Happy Birthday too. *stock footage you saw a dozen times of that screen coming up* General Ivar: Happy Birthday, Grimlord! Grimlord: Yes, I know. Colonel Icebot: We have some more presents, including something else. Grimlord: What is it? Ivar: It’s that hot tub you were asking for, sire Grimlord: Excellent, now I can let those meddlesome VR Troopers rust in here.
Metalder villains are really something since they're reoccurring characters since episode 1 so you pretty much get to see their personalities throughout the series as opposed to being merely a monster-of-the-week that gets introduced and disposed in just one episode.
it's my favorite toku of what i've watched because of the huge focus on the villains. it's usually more about them than metalder, to the point where some episodes kind of paint metalder as an antagonist because of the perspective. haven't been able to find anything with a similar focus since, unfortunately
@@TheDragonman104 I can at least recall two, one being Barloc who had a redemption moment right in the same episode where he debuted and later sacrificed himself for Metalder, and Hidouman whose entire purpose in the episode was just to be the sleazy bad guy that contrasted the now-repented Ben K.
If I had an army of various villains from Metal Heroes, Super Sentai and Kamen Rider as my organization and one day happens to be my birthday *I would kill for a party like this*
Bit later for a reply, but to be fair, Metalder did see humanity and expressed empathy on some of Neros' armies. The only villain that I remember him mercilessly killed was the droid who took a family hostage and was adamant to execute them.
If those females are Neros Empire slaves, they were each paired up in this dance with Wogger (who was adapted as Horrorbot in "VR Troopers"), Jamune (who was adapted as Fistbot in "VR Troopers"), Lortail (who went unnamed in "VR Troopers"), Bridy (who was adapted as Wolfbot in "VR Troopers"), Bankora (who was adapted as Spitbot in "VR Troopers"), and Damnen (who was adapted as Bugbot in "VR Troopers") during this scene. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Has Metalder been digitally remastered or something? Because the picture and colour quality here looks amazing, whereas in VR Troopers, the quality of Metalder footage looks very dated.
Many things were changed during the series. She actually loves and is loyal to Valski. But at the beginning their relationship was still inexistent. There is also that two soldiers(00:24) that were guarding the door, they were discarded without any explanation after episode 8. They never appear again. So, answering the question: She actually is Valski is lover, and she is loyal to him more than anything, but at early episodes, God Neros army's members were still being developed, so my theory is that they simply put all of them to dance regardless of personality, love interest or being or not being single.
even villans celebrate birthdays. They may be bad guys, but they're not monsters
Jajajja lol
Sadly, some villains never party. And God Neros is no exception.
God Neroes: Stop!
Henchman: May I inquire why?
God Neroes: None of you got me any birthday presents? Where's that hot tub I've been asking for!?

Well, the show did actually feature monsters that only appeared for an episode or two before dying.

damn how could metalder hate these guys
They're trying to conquer the world by destroying and controlling all it's resources, also after killing his dad

I like the dance music, and the lady around 1:09 was cute.
beautiful dancing girl

funny how this scene wasn´t in VR Troopers
Well, in VR Troopers, God Neros is known as Grimlord. And this scene doesn't exactly seem GRIM.
Cameras showing off what's under the dancers skirts with the commanders of each army approving. Yeah very appropriate for kids, he lied.
This scene feels incomplete.
