Dangg. I only just discovered this song today via Spotify. And I'm enamored. The line "Keep me in your mirror, but don't take your eyes off the road." had me interpreting it as a situation where you want the person to remember you, but doing so won't hinder them from continuing the their own journey even when you're out of the picture. I recently went through a very rough breakup with my ex boyfriend. I couldn’t understand why we had to move on, why we couldn’t be together. I finally get that sometimes things happen this way. I wasn’t able to see far beyond my ego and I was selfish. I had to let go. I cried to this song so much. I’m finally coping. I’ve never been in love, I’m scared cause almost everyone I know has been at least once with many and I’ve never with one. I’m terrified that I’ll never feel what it’s like to be in love.
