OLED is the best man. I have an LG OLED TV as well as the 27” OLED gaming monitor.
Legit the best thing ever. I'm looking to upgrade to the 83" next year, cannot wait!
@@JCArt good to talk to another oled enthusiast. I was waiting for an oled iPhone for years. I have the oled switch as well. Oled goes so well with Nintendo games.
@@tdogable I've been curious about the monitors for computer usage, but I do SO much video editing for my business and the only true downside to OLED being burn in, my hours on end same screen/programs would be an issue I think. That aside, it's breathtaking. This is my fourth OLED set and nothing comes close.
@@JCArt I do my regular office work on an LCD, so I can’t speak to that. But I couldn’t imagine gaming or watching movies on anything else. There’s rumors that the next Switch will not be OLED, and I will be literally heartbroken if that happens.
The ONLY thing I really need the next gen Switch to do is be backwards compatible with the current gen, I've got SO many physical Switch cartridges and I want that to carry over. Anything else is such a bonus to me.
This is the nicest game room I've ever seen. Very clean and organized. The only thing I would change is putting the terminator poster above the T 2 cabinet.
Thanks so much! You know what's funny is I actually tried that and I didn't like it! The T2 is so tall, and my movie posters are all the same height and my OCD couldn't handle haha

I was a graphic designer for 20 years, so I hate disorganization haha. I used to have the same 36" Sony back in the day and it's been so awesome recollecting some of these items again! Thanks for check out the video!

Great Content Pal, Baldurs Gate was also one of my Favs ever, when i was like 12 years old my Aunt bought me one for Christmas since then i collect anything Related to this awesome Game. I miss Really those Times, The Nostalgia & Everything. Now a Days Games n Stuff get Released but it isnt exciting like back in the days, just my Humble Opinion. Thats why i started to collect graded Stuff.

100% right on the Oled.
I used to have 65'' Nanocell and it was great for gaming and movies.
But then upgraded too the C2 and now the C3..... It is without a doubt, the best panel for gaming and movies.
The best way i can describe it, is it made me play all my older games again, because it was an entirely new experience.
When my pal saw MW2 running on the C3, he said... ''Iv'e got a £600 Samsung, why doesn't CoD look like this on my TV''.
I gave him the only answer i could.... Because it isn't an LG Oled lol.
He got one on finance about a week later.
They are just insanely good.
There's no comparison whatsoever! OLED or nothing!

Awesome game room and great tour! Love all the custom detail and mods you made to those arcade machines. Also love your 36" CRT. I had the same TV, but had to get rid of it during one of our moves. Just too heavy and big and nowhere to put it. Basically gave it away to Goodwill for free. One of my greatest videogame regrets ever. Love how everything's clean and organized. Great job!

That arcade is awesome! The cabinets all look so vibrant and clean. Most people with dedicated game rooms just have a cabinet or two I think for nostalgia, but you really have an actual Arcade! Killer instinct is also one of if not my favorite fighter. Awesome stuff.

Cool 'attention to detail' in your set up. I've seen a lot of set ups, and usually it's just hoarding, but yours is inspiring, because "Less is more!" Having choice products, great customizations, tailored to your interest keeps it golden, I can dig it!

As a father of teenage kids myself; my setup is not so much a retro collection but more a lan party house. Great for when we have friends and family come over.
Currently have multiple gaming PCs and laptops in the home office, xbox SX in my main lounge, xbox SS in the homebar, Xbox one x and ps4pro with vr in the family room.
All have multiple active gamepass accounts.
Pretty much one screen per player for crossplay multiplayer fps and racing titles as well as f1, forza, late night til morning 3vs3 aoe2 sessions and Dota of course.
No more screen looking. If old enough to remember the split screen days of goldeneye.

Very nice games room! I do hope you have anti-UV film on those windows. A friend told me he got his daughter a Pac-Man cabinet by Arcade1up. Just a few months later, the side facing the window was almost completely white, except for faint outlines of the ghosts, and whatever was black looked gray. I've since put blackout curtains on all arcade windows. I paid 12 grand for brand new windows, that supposedly had anti-UV film on them, but two of my cabinets now have faded side panels. I do like how you preserved the ability to go to, and use the windows. Unfortunately, my cabinets all block the windows, now. Thanks for the tour. :)
Thanks for checking it out! Also, thanks for the advice! I am very, VERY fortunate in this place that there is NO direct sunlight that comes through any of these windows!!! I get so much light, but the sun rises and sets on the other side of the building! It's amazing! No fading whatsoever after a couple years!

Very nice collection dude. I respect the physical mentality. Krul was a great movie man! I love it. Also you're right about the switch. To me it's the best and most fun console ever. I think the switch is the greatest console. I'm still rocking my cx oled too boss.

@JCArt 130 million people agree with me, that's how much the switch sold, and how much did your favorite console that you think is better sold? Yeah, exactly. The gamecube was a better system than the ps2, at least on a power level, but it got outsold by the weaker ps2. So, with that being said, a console doesn't have to be the most powerful to be a great console. Therefore, I don't see your point

@@JCArt I do very much admire the TV that you got. I think LG is a great company for OLED TVs but I got a better deal with the Samsung. That’s why I bought it otherwise I would’ve gotten the LGC3.
@glall3603 the beauty of OLED is that regardless which set you get, it's still leaps and bounds better than any LCD on the market. My next one I'm going for either the 83" or 97" OLED. Oh yeah.
LOVE your game room, bro! That SF2 Turbo cabinet had me smiling from ear to ear. My friends and I used to drop an obscene amount of quarters into our SF2 cabinet down at the mall and local arcade in the 90s.
I'm in the process of giving my modest bedroom theater/ gaming room a much needed glow up, I've added some LED lighting and I am in the process of getting some more soon.
One thing I'm planning on adding are some framed posters, like you have. My original plan was to go with some of Displates offerings ( which I LOVE) but the currency conversion, sales tax, shipping cost AND HEFTY customs fees to Canada, have me feeling like framed posters are the way to go.
So, I wanted to ask you where you purchased those 'thin/ minimal bezel' picture frames you have ( The Monster Squad & The Void)?
I was gonna get some frames from IKEA but the bezels are pretty fat, similar to your other posters in your game room. 😊

My larger 27x40 poster frames are kind of trash...the place where I get my minimum bezel ones I get from a chain we have here in NH called 'Hobby Lobby' I'll actually be replacing my larger frames from there as well, they're expensive, but much better quality than what I'm currently using.
just too let you know you can install cfw on the ps3 if it does not play ps2 but with cfw you can i did it too my 2ng gen 80 gb non backwards compatible but it plays ps2 roms fine

I was never a fan of that one honestly...I'm not even a fan of Red Dead Redemption. I AM a huge fan of the Undead Nightmare though, that's actually why I own the game

* For a way out, it takes two, and overcooked you need another player. Overcooked you don't necessarily need another player though. Also, if you want a challenge...sifu, cuphead, and crash bandicoot (definitely crash) will give you it. I would start with 3, 2, then 1 out of the crash bandicoot trilogy for it to start off easy. Do you have any NES and ps2 games?
Not a fan of the PS2 era of gaming personally, Spiderman 2 is on the list of current things to purchase, have played/beaten Ghost of Tsushima Directors Cut (one of the best games to come out in a decade!) not really a fan of any of the others you mentioned, but I definitely appreciate the suggestions.

@TISUAL I JUST acquired a top loader NES this week finally! I picked up Mario Bros/Duck Hunt and Batman, but have like a list of 70+ other titles to grab. That's gonna be a fun collection to start in on for sure.
@@JCArt Yessss. I got like 75 games on my list I want to get for the NES when i start buying for that console. It might go down to 50 something cuz ik a few games was super hard like contra and double dragon. Also duck hunt, Mario, TMNT 2, and arch rivals were my favorite games growing up. If you don't know about this person yet, their website is called mini box gaming and they sell game boxes for retro games. I love that, but I do wish that we had someone who made a great backwards compatible console. The people of "polymega" almost did it, but the execution was bad if you heard.
@TISUAL so, I HIGHLY recommend you checkout my latest video in which I review that modded Game Boy and the EverDrive system, it is totally the way to go for acquiring a huge list of games for original consoles right away while you slowly build your collection in the original format. Also, Contra and Double Dragon are MUST HAVES! Some of the best games on the system! Beaten em both!

Everything was good but can't go back to normal TV if you have used Oled TV is myth. I have both and sometimes you do not even differentiate when you only care about content.
There is SUCH vast difference between the two and I'm such a snob about visual quality.

I usually light my videos much more cinematic, but since this was just a tour it's bare bones lighting which means some things get blown out sadly.

I dont think they're trash at all, haven't had any problems with them whatsoever really. And all my mods are purely cosmetic and mileage will vary on what people think is cool and what others dont.

I do indeed, one master bedroom and then my office which is also a full size bedroom. Pretty big space, no more room for new arcades though haha
