Fishing the Tampa Bay Shipping Channel for Snapper and Grouper - Tougher than usual - June 2024

Between engine problems, and unfavorable moon, and dodging early summer thunderstorms, we had a short trip and caught a little less than we usually do. But hey, we can't catch 'em on the couch - we still found plenty of action on red grouper and mangrove snapper on the channel edges and ledges well inside Tampa Bay, even with very limited mobility. I also drop the underwater camera at a couple of spots to get a true look at what the bottom looks like on these channel edges.

That ramp is in Ruskin off 41. It would be much faster to launch at E.G. Simmons
