- Before the Jedi can leave Mortis, the Son takes Ahsoka captive in an attempt to entice Anakin into joining him to use their combined strength to overpower his Father and Sister. To this end, the Son casts Ahsoka under the spell of the dark side. Anakin is told he will destroy the jedi
Meanwhile, the Father attempts to stave off a disastrous showdown between his children and maintain the Force's increasingly precarious balance on the planet. Fearing that the Son may be unstoppable, the Daughter does the forbidden by taking Obi-Wan Kenobi to the Altar of Mortis, wherein is kept the Dagger of Mortis, a weapon capable of killing a Force wielder. The Son steals the weapon, and attempts to use it against his Father to steal his power and end his rule, but the Daughter sacrifices herself, placing herself in front of the blade. "

He fell in love, formed bonds and friendships, people who he trusted his life with and people he would die for without hesitation. Not because "a Jedi must be selfless" or he has a Duty, But because his passion for them is what drove him especially at his end. He held back a powerful explosion by using his passionate love for his crew. It's forbidden in the Jedi Code but highly encouraged by the Sith code. Not only that but he found peace and harmony in times of chaos. The Jedi code states "There is no Chaos, only Harmony" while the Sith code states that those who break their chains, those who gain control of their own destiny, gain Power. The scene when Kanan saves Hera and Ezra embodies both beliefs; Kanan found peace in a time of chaos and in doing so gives him the strength to hold back the explosion. In this way he discovers the true nature of the Force, and the Force rewards him for it....
This is why Bendu is the greatest teacher that ever existed, he taught Kanan to be empty and clear which allowed him to embrace his family once again after pushing them away for over a year and in turn gave him strength. Imagine if Bendu had taught Anakin instead? Forget reaching his full potential I think Anakin would far exceed it

I love how Ahsoka became the embodiment of the daughter, Anakin became the son and Obi Wan became the father. All embodied them respectively.

You can see that calling the Son a Sith is an insult. The Sith serve their Order and not the darkness which the Son represents. They are a corruption of the dark side and that is why the Son wants to destroy them.

Well in RotS anakin was super nice but then unconvincingly became evil and AotC anakin was pretty evil, this anakin is awesome
hunter christensen in the phantom menace anakin was a kid, being taken away from his mother was scaring but he vowed to return to her. Attack of the clones was when anakin went dark, but it didn’t even affect the plot much. Revenge if the sixth was when anakin turned evil but he was so nice and not like attack of the clones anakin. If not for the clone wars show which filled in the gaps for character development anakin just kinda turned nice. Then Palpatine said that he could save padme and then he just kills the Jedi. I know the Jedi were jerks in the prequels but you don’t have to kill them. In the beginning of the movie he was havin a good time with obi wan and even reluctantly killed dooku even though he killed not just the men but the women and children sand people. It’s not convincing because one he was super nice at the beginning of RotS and 2 you can’t just take a character and change from one movie to the next even if there was a time gap. Heck even in the clone wars show anakin was just as dark as AotC anakin sometimes. But that wasn’t what it originally was supposed to be. So that’s why it’s unconvincingw

He was worried the Son would sound too much like Star killer (a role he is well know for) . They had to be destroyed, So a better New Republic and New Jedi under Luke can replace it

I’m always thinking about how the son was supposed to be the villain in ep IX. The way he talks about destroying the Sith AND the Jedi aligns with what Kylo told Rey he wanted to do at the end of TLJ. I think the trilogy was doomed from the beginning since they never had an outline of how it was supposed to go, but they could have made snoke this guy in disguise or something in TLJ 😪. Like imagine if how Anakin brought balance by killing the last being on Mortis, Anakin became the father by having a daughter and son. Then when Leia only had a son balance pulled him to the dark. Idk man. I’m just making shit up cause I was really giving the sequel trilogy a chance up until they killed Ben Solo. Can’t believe that bloodline is just over. Whatever.
I’m still holding out hope that Luke had a kid who just went into exile or something and the Skywalker bloodline will continue. Like Ben in legends. I find it hard to believe that they would wipe out the main family of Star Wars in a movie called “rise of skywalker”. Rey doesn’t count imo.

I have an idea. What if Rey was Luke's daughter? Anakin is The Chosen One, so he is The Father. Ben could have been The Son and Rey The Daughter. But something has changed. At first both The Son and The Daughter were just pure dark and pure light, but now is different. The Son, Ben, while on the dark is pulled to the light and The Daughter, while on the light is pulled to the dark. And we could have seen that the final battle in all of Star Wars is by achiving balance for eternity

He did have a part in his turn by erasing him memory but because he had to everything Anakin did was meant to happen from his turn all the way up to his redemption if he retained his memory it would have thrown the prophecy off

I think it’s ironic that as the chosen one Anakin had the highest midichlorian count and he had the potential to become the most powerful force user in the galaxy and the only one that can destroy the sith, yet it wasn’t his power that made him destroy the sith, it was simply the love for his son.

Well, he didn’t mean Vader, he meant Anakin. Anakin and his force abilities.
@@blank003 Vader tried to kill himself a few times, never managed it. One time Imperial Forces found him and and had him "repaired".
That suit basically removed his capacity to kill himself. He could not just stop breathing as the mask was a respirator, and some of his organs were cybernetics. Plus, the Dark Side was basically keeping him alive, which must have been frustrating, but made him more angry and just more immersed in it.

Crazy how Anakin was so dedicated to sticking to be a Jedi and eventually became one of the biggest dark lords if not the biggest.

- His love of Padmé & the jedi's intense rules of attachments
- granting a seat on the council but not the title of master
- assigning him to spy on Palpatine
- attacking Palpatine
- condemning Ahsoka
- ignoring Anakin's sadness in the loss of R2-D2
- war time corruption
- taken from his mother as a child
- Mace Windu's constant belittling of Anakin
- focused too much on him being the chosen one

Very likely he was planning to killl Palpatine once he got the knowledge he needed. That's the nature of the Dark Side. Most people don't really know what they're letting themselves in for until they're too late, by which time it very hard to renounce it.

@@englishlady9797 Well the Dark Side is not inherently evil, the Sith use it too gain power, because the Dark side is naturally more powerful than the light side due too it's reliance upon passion, funny thing is that the Dark side can in fact be used responsibly and without evil intention. The Sith are slaves too the Dark side despite all their efforts too exert their will over the force, they are power hungry, and all they really care about is gaining more influence, however this is an incorrect use of passion, and the Dark Side. Revan is the greatest example of a balance, he was both sides of the force, he was the force incarnate, because he used both sides of the force respectfully, and without purely evil intentions, he used his passion too restore balance, he was the first chosen one, and he succeeded.
Sam Witwer is so good he played 3 badass Star Wars characters. Darth Maul, Starkiller, and the Son.
He did Vaders voice too abit during these few episodes though im not sure if he actually voiced Vader in the FU games

So...bringing balance to the force meant to have both Jedi and Sith destroyed, which Anakin / Vader did...until Rey and the new trilogy came along and fucked everything up. Was she like the new chosen one or something?

@@RAJ07.1 No, balance too the Force means balance, no Jedi, no Sith. The whole idea of bringing balance is too bring the light and dark together, and for only the Force too be left. No light side, no dark side, only the Force in whatever fashion it needs too be used. No Jedi, no Sith, only those who know how too follow the Force in it's entirety. That was Anakin's destiny, and he fulfilled it, he destroyed both the Jedi and the Sith and he brought balance in the end.
