I mean at the end of the day they just make good quality knockoffs of good figures, the thing that separates ct from other knockoffs is the budget on the figure that they put
Another great vid!!! Glad that CT toys is giving ppl an opportunity to experience the fun and excitement us Mafex fans have been feeling over the years with all the great comic book offers from Marvel and DC. Mafex is PEAK action figure and every Marvel character they have released is easily the definitive version and slowing replacing all my MLs. I know for Mafex the price of admission is kinda high for most collectors so to see CT toys do what the they is good for the community.
@@epiclvlpurple19 i have some mafex comin in my pile of loot here shortly. Im not against them by any means! Gambit will be mine!! But i just enjoy a new line, an affordable price, a character that rules, and Posability!!! Whats the best mafex in your opinion in terms of articulation and range?
@ i would say the best articulated and most range would have to go to Ben Reilly No.143 and Scarlet Spider No.186 followed by the recently released Daredevil figure. But for the most part pretty much all of their comic figures get excellent articulation/range.
Starting off the new year with a BANGER! 💥 No two right feet, a better mask less head sculpt. Here comes the but, not a fan of the pearl blue. Overall a great figure. I'm digging those claws.
Haven't watched the vid yet but it's stupid how good this figure is for the price. I know there's reasons at to why it's so affordable and good, but still. My only little grip is the stripes near the butterfly joints. I feel like just a slight alteration to the design could have let the stripes exist outside of the butterfly entirely. The way you end up with a broken stripe depending on how the arms are posed bugs my mild ocd. Though this is also how the original figure was so it's not something only CT did.
Congrats, this might be the "Fig God's" way of paying you back after the knockoff of the knockoff that was Spider-man that you got previously. 😝 But seriously though, both my CT Toys Wolverine are squeaky as a nest of mice when they find cheese, like dang, but a couple drops of oil and the sound went away ... until they came back a few days later after the oil dried up. But at least it's better than loosey goosey joints, those are a nightmare.
@@OscarMasons i used a SMALL amount of olive oil butter on my ct 2099. Still squeak free! The left shoulder didnt move without the some of that utter paste!
mafex one is not better, diaper is hard and the blue rubs off from the diaper area onto the torso and the legs... and cause the diaper is a harder plastic the legs cant go up as much.
@@jeysfigs8787 well thats awesome! Glad i didnt drop the full price for that one. Some people are sayin CT is improving Mafexs molds....i am enjoying them all so far. Lol. Im no figure snob, just an enthusiast!
Bro you are killing it! The segments in your videos are unmatched.
