Sensible longhorn fans, something I’ve never seen before. Major props to you both.
Wegman's primary issues was a very horrendous OL. In the Miami game he had no protection. Also, if he goes down again, don't sleep on Marcel Reed, different skill set, and perhaps a better fit, who knows. And then there's Jaylon Henderson, also a proven, capable back-up. I think most are undervaluing Elko. But, you can not persuade anyone with opinions, the Aggies have to prove who they are. Regarding the Nov 30th matchup, anyone can win in a rivalry game, especially such as this. Thanks for discussing the Aggies. I enjoy an honest opposing perspective. I have my personal thoughts and am anxious to see how things play out.
I also look for Texas to be lead by Arch by the time Nov 30th rolls around. I think if you bring in an Arch Manning, you bring him in to start, not set the bench for 2 years. No matter who else you have in the QB room, you are doing him and his family a dis-service to set him.
If Weigy goes down again, we’re destined for another 7-5 or 8-4. If he stays healthy we have a chance to win 10 with this years schedule.
No doubt A&M has talent but how long until all those Jimbo guys are gone ketch? Let’s see what Elko can bring in, Texas and Aggies have really easy schedules I think the SEC really wants that game to have SEC championship implications, Aggies should be favored in most games besides maybe LSU and obv Texas
A&M is out recruiting Texas in 2025 with Elko. A&M is a huge brand. They will always be ok. Agree with everything you’re saying here. The premier game this year will be the Lone Star Showdown.
@@giorgiowesley4429 you do know it’s early in the recruiting season right? One thing you gotta know with sark is his classes start slow and finish really really good, Texas will still finish with a top 5 class
@@Hillcountryoperationssame with A&M. Last year was the only year TU did better than A&M. Other than the down year with coaching change last year we still are on par to out recruit Texas.

No he wasn't, he said he loves rivalry games and was excited to have the rivalry game again. Plus he said to an A&M reporter to stop worrying about what texas does and worry about A&M instead.

Texas’ AD refused to play Texas A&M for years and for good reason.
