Outside of Rare Essence I absolutely loved Ayre Rayde,back then it was said that AR,was a Maryland band but I grew up in DC and never thought that they were but I knew they were in the Brentwood area which is a border between DC and MD Rohd Island Ave
Brian Pearis back in the day,alot of bands CRANKED LIKE SHIT,but a lot of people considered A.R.the 4th ranked band behind the BIG 3... Essence,E.U. & Trouble Funk so when other members went to play with A R.it was a big deal,also Godfather, Little Benny & Tidy,Cabalou.
