  • Follow the steps in this video to see how to install SNMP on windows 10.
    After install, open services.msc,
    find the SNMP service,
leave everything in the agent tab default,
    open the security tab,
    enter a community name,
then choose which IP or domain name can query the new SNMP agent.
    Save changes.
You can now query SNMP of the Windows 10 machine.
In my video, I use the SNMPWALK program on my Raspberry PI.
$ snmpwalk -v 2c -c [your community name] [ip address or hostname] .
    #snmp

Go to settings ---> Apps and features ---> optional features ---> view optional features ---> Scroll down untill you find "simple network protocol"

to find windows local network ip, open cmd prompt and type ipconfig. On most home networks the ip will start with 192.168.x.x. But not always. It may also start with 10.x.x.x. It depends on your network router settings.

you could do more examples in the end of the video, the critical part was from the community on, for us brazilians, everything is very expensive, so I cannot but a raspberry PI, what other options do we have? I mean, easier, cheaper... can we use only the computer itself? can we do it with virtual machines?
