    Jackson's gonna be a star. I expect continued growing pains this year but the kid has it. All the people wanting to trade him (or even Gunnar lol) are gonna be eating their words in a year or two.

      Anyone who even had 1% serious thought about trading him
      Were Crazy!
      I didn’t see anything about Gunnar! Only question about him is will the Orioles give him a huge contract to make him happy and keep him in Baltimore for next decade? Whole Career?

    He may have benefited from another season in the minors but he’s going to improve the more he has to face down pitchers who throw rockets. It may be a trial by fire for him, but the kid definitely has the skills and the talent to make it. He’s already gotten his second dinger and his batting average, while not fantastic, is definitely better than it was when he was first called up.
    The O’s are going to win a World Series within five years and I can’t wait as I was five the last time they brought the championship home. Whew, that does mean that I am pretty old.

      It’s not particularly likely that they will make it this season as this is now a young team that will be playing older and more experienced teams in the playoffs, but they are definitely going to win the WS within five years. Even all of the sports analysts are saying that, and I have no doubt that they will. I love watching this team; they’re exciting and you can tell that they love the game, they appreciate their fans, and they want to win. The re-building took a long time but it’s very likely that the O’s are going to be one of, if not the, most dominant teams in the Bigs for a decade.

      First, I'd say he "flipped" the bat towards the dugout/bat boy versus showing up the pitcher (see Jose Bautista for an actual bat flip) and second, I'm old but man, you sound old. Nobody cares about this anymore.

    • @goobernoodles
      @goobernoodles 2 месяца назад

      Oh please, he annihilated that baseball and that was the tamest bat flip ever.

    • @chriskelly6559
      @chriskelly6559 2 месяца назад

      @rasi, I agree that he wasn't showing up the pitcher, the flipping is kinda stupid and unnecessary, like stepping outta the box to adjust the Velcro straps on your batting gloves, unnecessary. And yeah, I've been a Bird since '65.

    • @chriskelly6559
      @chriskelly6559 2 месяца назад

      Oh yeah, back in the day, a bat flip would empty benches. Just sayin'.
