Great vid. Picked up your tool less guide rod right after receiving the email. Such a no brainier upgrade. The prodigy is my intro to the 2011 world and your vids have helped plenty.
New to the 1911 world. Never liked the capacity. But Looking to get into the 2011 world on a budget. I needed this video. Was planning to go prodigy or Bul armory and upgrade as I go with atlas products. I think my first upgrades would be thumb safeties, pinned grip safety, atlas trigger. Maybe a guide rod and recoil spring and gas pedal. Thanks for the video!
This is just one of the fantastic things about Atlas. Who else would do this review? Adam, I’m a hardcore Atlas guy, could you please consider making a 3.5 inch Ares? I would buy it today. I would buy the 3.5 Nyx but its unobtainium.
Thanks so much I’ve already replace some non mim parts with a mix of Atlas and EGW, atlas parts are hard to get for the Prodigy!! My first replacement was the extractor and disconnector and recoil spring! Runs smooth now eats everything!! Also gun your mags tuned off you think they are a problem or send them into Springfield their customer service support has been awesome!!
been considering one of these, and the problem is needing that 500-1000 breakin + upgrades/gunsmith price basically equals the staccato P price. (unless im able to find a prodigy for around $1000-1100).
I bought a Prodigy, but haven't been able to shoot it yet, and I just received my order from you guys with the guide rod replacement, what are you thoughts on the 9lb spring? should that be upgraded to a 10lb?
Here’s another great upgrade to your Springfield Prodigy 1911…..buy a Staccato, Atlas, Wilson Combat, Phoenix Trinity, Nighthawk, Dan Wesson or Ed Brown 1911. All these companies make exceptional quality handguns that actually work and don’t malfunction! 🤷🏾♂️😂
I paid 800$ for my prodigy. I’m motivated to make it work 😂😂
Sweet! Thanks for giving the Prodigy some love! Going to grab one of these guide rods. That 2 piece is a royal pain.

those guide rods will be flying off the shelves for sure 👍
Definitely getting the guide rod as soon as they're back in stock.
I’m loving mine so far. Put a trigger in from you guys. No issue’s 1200+ rounds so far.
This is why I love Atlas. #noteventheirgun

Atlas likes the Prodigy wow I’ll have to take a look now seems like a solid starter kit

Man this video just made my day!
Y'all give great information!
I’d just a new Infinity drop in trigger and ignition kit for your staccato. They even make a kit for a Springfield prodigy
On your website I don’t see the 5 inch tool less guide rod for prodigy
nice ,lots information

I think I’ll get one soon
Does your Tool-less Guiderod work with the Bul Armory SAS Tac II 4.25?

Did y’all change the springs on your prodigy to get it to run?
What main spring and recoil spring weights are recommended, if changing is recommended?
Can I get a answer I don't mind a double stack 9mm however why don't we see it in 45 caliber?
The best advice to upgrade the prodigy is to go sell it as soon as possible. Buy a Staccato. You only need that one upgrade. 😂
