DE-1, DE-1D: Five Points to West Rehoboth

This video covers a trip between Five Points (west of Lewes) and West Rehoboth (the DE-1/DE-1A split) in Coastal Delaware. This also involves the reconfigured intersection between US-9/DE-404, DE-1D, and DE-23, as well as the entire length of DE-1D, a short alternate route to DE-1 in the area.

I remember when there were nothing but fields along Plantation Rd and rt.24...... nothing but fields meant for growing food. Corn and Lima beans mostly. I grew up on the corner of 24 and rt.1.. I remember when there were woods and farm houses. There was no mall or outlets... So heartbreaking to see the destruction of what was once a beautiful area.
