I’m in the middle of my dads 720 and was curious about the play in the first reduction gear. I see yours is the same way. have you come across any specs for it?
I haven't seen any specs about the play. On the forums, they said to just crank the end castle nut up hard and should be good. That's what I ended up doing. Otherwise, it'd have to be brought to a machine shop built up and the teeth re- ground. There are not a lot of options, really.
