Not like I disagree with your statement, but what the survivor was likely complaining about was that Demi kept returning to the basement right after they were unhooked. Now I understand that he did leave some people on the floor when they had already been hooked, but one can sort of see how something like that could be seen as "scummy" (even Demi admits that he's playing a bit toxic in the video). Of course, I understand that it's not bannable to play this way, nor will I tell anyone not to play this way. However, I do recognize how it might not be as fun for some survivors.

Those five are arguably one of the more toxic things that you can bring in the game. And all of them were high level perks. However, that still doesn't negate my argument that it's likely not fun to have just gotten off the hook and then immediately get downed right after. There isn't much the survivor can do, because by the time the survivor gets out of the basement the killer is already there, and because the killer wasn't close, no BT for them. I do agree with Big Bitch when he points out that the survivors brought many tools that could have been used toxicly. However, I don't believe that toxicity should be fought with toxicity. They could have clocked that he was running Thrill with how he kept returning to the totems, even going so far as to break chase in order to do so, and they should have ignored the totems in order to avoid unnecessary chases, which is what got most of them killed because of Billy's movement speed. More than that, though, they should never have played close to basement while knowing it was Billy in the first place. He has huge map pressure and is one of the strongest snowballing killers in the game, so avoiding the basement (or any places that have the potential to spawn the basement, if you don't yet know where exactly it has spawned by the time you get into a chase) should be a no-brainer at that point to deny him extra pressure. You don't make it easier for him to gain advantage by playing in the area that allows him to block your escape. They got steamrolled by this build because they were careless. More careful, perhaps stealthy play and attention to their surroundings could have saved them. That, however, isn't the killer's fault, and blaming the killer not only furthers the entitled, toxic mindset you see so often among the community, but it ultimately means they will never analyze their own game play in order to learn from their mistakes. They need to improve their game play, and their general attitude towards the game. Especially when the survivors themselves were running notoriously overpowered builds and items as well. TL;DR If you give the Billy a free win by playing into his advantages, you don't get to complain - at that point its a natural consequence of your bad decisions and you should work to minimize those bad decisions in the future.

The purge was complaining for something that never happened, WHILE JOINING THE MATCH WITH A RARE KEY!

Devour literally combats camping with great reward. The chainsaw sprint is just fucking fast. Pretty sure it’s faster than Oni dash, or legion frenzy. I never get mad about mori’s honestly cause it’s a mechanic in the game, why not use it? We have DS, borrowed, head on, breakout, and a bunch of other perks that make killers lives hell. Not to mention flashlights which you can’t dodge if you’re stuck in an animation. This is just a fun game, there’s no need to be so upset about losing. Lol. Generally an overpowered technique quickly sucks the losing side's fun and slowly sucks the winning side's due to the fact that for the former, it just is unfun to have a virtually nonexistent way to fight back and the latter just does not have any difficulty, which is not very nice in games. At least the two last Dwights I think they were. Generally this match had some arguably bad survivors playing. The one that had some complaints in the end was actually the one with 3 out of 4 perks barely synergizing, because he brought self care with andrenaline and dead hard, the former automatically heals you once the generators are finished, and Dead Hard is only usable once you are injured, which makes either Dead Hard or Self Care obsolete. Man's a dummy, he was boosted to God, and still called the killer a camper.
Yesterday i saw a killer take some steps backwards right after hooking someone to make the person unhooking in front get the Make your choice effect, today i saw Demi getting himself closer to the basement and cancelling himself a Devour hope token.
I ran devour hope with haunted ground in a custom game and my friend managed to cleanse devour hope at the start. He had a 1 in 3 chance of that totem being devour hope and he got it

Yesterday I did the devour hope build on hag with mint rag and rusted shackles good times but I recommend you put one trap on your totem and another trap close to it but where people won’t step in cuz you could be carrying a survivor and another survivor triggers the trap then it disappears you have a different trap to TP or you use mint rag and it goes on cool down then when it comes of you teleport to try and save your totem may not work 100%and I used thrill of the hunt so even if then don’t trigger the trap i gain the notification that there working on the totem then you can use minor rag to teleport to it and maybe yank them
To be fair, devour hope is literally the healthies perk in the game, it discourages camping for killers and encourages the survivors to look for bones instead of rushing gens

What I don’t get is them noticing Devour Hope with Billy. He can instant down. If you aren’t watching him, and he’s not close enough, you can’t hear the saw. You know what would be a good idea for hex totem's that require getting tokens that the effect still last even when broken like let's say a game you use devor hope and you only get 2 stacks before it's broken you will still get the speed boost from hooking the survivor but if you had the 3 stacks of they broke it then you would still be able to insta down so the idea is it's like a punishment for not clensing more so more people will start to clense but then this is we're hex haunted grounds would come in to play it would make people think more about clensing either by leaving the totem alone or by taking a chance to hope to God it isn't haunted grounds

Camping and bringing a key aren’t even comparable. Camping means the survivor gets their gaming experience shortened because of an unskilled killer whereas a key does what? Prevent a killer from getting a 4k instead of a 3k lmao?
@@brosef5033 when that Video was uploaded the hatch would Spawn at remaining gens + remaining survivors = 5 and multiple people could escape through it with a key. You could literally lose all four survivors because of a single Key while they still didn't Finish all gens.
Edit: And that's ignoring that you won't get 5 stacks of devour by camping.

At least the two last Dwights I think they were. Generally this match had some arguably bad survivors playing. The one that had some complaints in the end was actually the one with 3 out of 4 perks barely synergizing, because he brought self care with andrenaline and dead hard, the former automatically heals you once the generators are finished, and Dead Hard is only usable once you are injured, which makes either Dead Hard or Self Care obsolete. Man's a dummy, he was boosted to God, and still called the killer a camper.

My killer winrate is about more than 5/1 and I never intentionally camp, but my survivor winrate is about 1/1 because killers that are bad (not Yerv, but other killers) can use these strategies and killers with no counterplay and just win no matter what
my argument is that this isn’t fun to play against, and there is no counterargument to this. (Unless you think losing no matter how good you are at the game is fun)
And don’t try to tell me you don’t complain if a killer camps you, because that’s just bullshit

@@magikkal6133 yes I understand, camping killers and killers with no counter play (pyramid head, spirit to a certain extent) is very annoying to deal with, but having a higher win rate on killer seeing your a survivor main ( depending on ranks) could be just do to your skill on survivor, you know the stuff the survivors are gonna do, and saying that killers have things that are unfun to play against is to a certain extent biased, as a killer main, I’ve played 5 matches today, 4 of Witch had map offerings, you also think going against DS/UB/DH/AD/ is fun? Is going against OOO fun? Either camp and tunnel them while the others do gens, or they have wall hacks all game, at least Devour hope can be cleansed

Yesterday I did the devour hope build on hag with mint rag and rusted shackles good times but I recommend you put one trap on your totem and another trap close to it but where people won’t step in cuz you could be carrying a survivor and another survivor triggers the trap then it disappears you have a different trap to TP or you use mint rag and it goes on cool down then when it comes of you teleport to try and save your totem may not work 100%and I used thrill of the hunt so even if then don’t trigger the trap i gain the notification that there working on the totem then you can use minor rag to teleport to it and maybe yank them
rework for devour hope: gain a token for every safe hook rescue performed, so you can't just chainsaw over and have your cake and devour it to.
no because then you can tunnel the rescuer and thats camping but with the other person

What I don’t get is them noticing Devour Hope with Billy. He can instant down. If you aren’t watching him, and he’s not close enough, you can’t hear the saw. I would assume he was just sawing people down until he mori’d a survivor with only 1 hook, or no hooks at all. Unless it’s Survive with Friends.

You know what would be a good idea for hex totem's that require getting tokens that the effect still last even when broken like let's say a game you use devor hope and you only get 2 stacks before it's broken you will still get the speed boost from hooking the survivor but if you had the 3 stacks of they broke it then you would still be able to insta down so the idea is it's like a punishment for not clensing more so more people will start to clense but then this is we're hex haunted grounds would come in to play it would make people think more about clensing either by leaving the totem alone or by taking a chance to hope to God it isn't haunted grounds
