Nick D's response on Akai Forum about the warp and sync in browser update: "Hey everybody, Sorry you've been having some difficulty with this. I was able to contact development and it looks like that function is not actually included this firmware build. I do apologize for that and I'm sorry if it had you pulling your hair out trying to figure out what was going on. This is a function that is scheduled for the Force hardware and is planned to be implemented in a future update. I will update the community with any new information I receive! Thank you! "
Woah! Thanks to you I learned how to use the Mother Ducker within 2 minutes! Truly an amazing tool! Seriously, I love my Force more and more. My Roland 707 was so much more complicate, duh... (also, the cute duck became animated in the meantime :D)
btw thank you for all your videos ... I have been watching all the Akai Force videos and you have allowed me to be able to start self educating myself on this machine ! really helpful videos ! thank you !
Matthew, I don’t know, if you found the sync and warp tabs, but you have to go to the menu page, choose track edit, than press the samples tab on that page, that should bring up the page with the sync and warp tabs, on that page.
🎛🔥👑 Super dope skills & content. THANK YOU for doin’ it up and explaining it righteously. Now onto NI stand-alone & Push III speculation & integration...#whothefunkknows
how did you get to that screen at 5:30 on the Force ? I haven't been able to figure it out... you transitioned so quickly to that screen without showing how you got there haha
I was going to ask the same thing, but I figured it out. Hold Shift, then click Mixer. It breaks out the pads into channels; also called Pad Mixer. Pretty nice.
Thank you Matthew! I own the Force and have learned quite a bit following you on these videos. It has been almost a year since your first video, if you can believe it. Do you have any new ones planned for the later updates?
I have not tried guitar yet. On fixed recording feature, did you see a control to overdub OR loop replacing recording on each spin? I would love to have a mode to play same lick until I am happy with last one, so just keep, instead of messing up and picking “best” in a lengthy recording. Is this feasible here?
Do you know if you are able to play a particular sample in a drum kit like MPC Live using 16 level (Different notes or keys)? I know it has the ability to play instruments using keyboard function and uploading all the notes, but does it have the same capability as the MPC Live
Hello. There is no 16 level on the Akai Force. You would have to make a keygroup and load your sample into the keygroup to get that functionality. You can have that one sample across all the notes of the keygroup. In short, it does not have the same capability as the MPC Live.
You can automate program changes for midi for external gear using the event editor. I am not sure if you can automate the internal synth presets though.

I think your videos combined run longer than the time the Force is out ;)
Thanks !
Too bad I can’t see all Matt’s vids as playing with mine LOL it help me to stay connected to Force when I am not around :D

Nice ! Any way to eq the sidechain signal ? Without eqing the actual drum ?
Check the tags for your WAV files. Was the BPM info put into the metadata of your loops?
Yay sidechain compression!
Nice!

My drums didn't sync to beat on audition, and I have not found a sync button😐
Does wav has any timing info embedded? I don’t think it’s possible, so wav samples can’t be synced maybe...
Thanks for vid, is it true this thing only has one time signature 4/4?

Great video Mathew. Maybe you can answer my question, do you think it’s possible to plug a CD burner to the Force.
I honestly don't know.
Matthew Stratton thanks
Only floppy and ZIP Disks.
Si pudieras poner los subtitulo en Español sería fantástico, gracias por tu tiempo
what about playing what you make to friends via your phone for example
i believe the file type makes that impossible ...reply asap please
where are the updates at?
They haven't released them to the general public yet. Hopefully soon.
You can find them on the Akai website in your log in or on the Akai Force downloads page on Akai's website: www.akaipro.com/force-forcexus
Can a user automate preset changes as part of a sequence?
You can automate program changes for midi for external gear using the event editor. I am not sure if you can automate the internal synth presets though.
New update out soon. Maybe we will be able to automate preset changes with this update: ruclips.net/video/g3IfghJlBIw/видео.html
This guy likes Soft Cell
AKAI FORCE OR MPC X That is the question ?
