Qiqi is FUN, but NOT important for Clorinde! (Update)

  • Although this team is not a meta team for DPS, the main idea is creating a unique team that utilises unpopular things such as skyward blade, qiqi, and physical in general. And you create a team thats pretty good! It's quite cool to be thinking outside the box rather than the same tried and tested team archtypes.

Just wanted to clarify this since there's people on both sides misunderstanding the purpose of the team. It's neither a meme team that isn't actually good, nor is it a super strong Clorinde team that made Qiqi meta for DPS! Instead, It's a creative and original team that let's people have fun with "unlucky 50/50 5 stars", whilst being an easy to play team that you can't really die with. For most players, the game is about having fun after all.

Totally agreed with all of this! Even though it's a meme team I appreciate you making it because I love this type of "hidden synergy" team that uses parts of every character's kit to come together. It is part of what makes Genshin such a fascinating game.
I have been trying to make Qiqi work for so long, just to 36* with her continuously (without resetting or changing teams) in a team where she feels impactful (e.g. not Qiqi Hyperbloom), and thanks to this I was finally able to do it. (And yes, I did try Pyro Plunge Qiqi, it made me cry)
My experience with this Clorinde team:
    - Extremely comfy, pretty easy to clear with, just not as fast
    - Doesn't use most of my in-demand units, freeing up the other side (I usually use fischl with Navia and I want to run them on either side)
    - Really fun to watch, but can be confusing to play because I'm not used to the fast attack speed and dashy playstyle
    - Qiqi's energy requirements are so high when using her off field
    - Faced issue of losing Cryo aura/being unable to SC especially in a 2nd rotation because of Qiqi's absurd CD but ultimately could still clear so it's fine
I couldn't do it nearly as fast as most other showcases I saw, but my Clorinde is missing investment and everyone important is C0R0: ruclips.net/video/gNu-GrqulBM/видео.html
Overall, purely because of the units involved and because it's funny, I'll probably be returning to this team in the future, even though it won't replace my "main" Clorinde build. Thanks again for sharing the team info and showcase with us!

Qiqi is cute but she's so not fun to play (at least if she's used as a healer support like in Chlorinde team).
Her cryo application is non existent, her healing with skill takes too long (4.5s iirc), her cooldown for skill and burst are long, her energy generation is shit so we can't even fill that burst of 80 energy cost, on top of that we try to use her as an off field support healer, and even if we could use her burst everytime, whenever we do use it, the enemies get killed quickly cuz of Chlorinde and Qiqi no longer has skill or burst to use for next wave of enemies... For this team to speedrun you need Clorinde c2 and have Zhongli replaced with Nahida.
Also Qiqi needs ocean clam and heal 9k per tick to deal 140k AOE damage per rotation, which is not a negligible amount and it does take good artifacts to achieve (to have enough ATK and ER) not just scrapes.
