I cannot stress as medic how helpful the dad’s info was makes our job so much easier when we arrive on scene. This dad is top notch

This happened to me. I had been out late at night fishing from the riverbank, came home and went to bed only to wake up 3 hours later in more agony than I had ever felt in my life. Every millimetre of my body was in pain. No position relieved it. My wife called the ambulance and I managed to sit in the computer chair and the pain eased off then at the hospital they told me I had pneumonia. Must have been worse than his though as I was admitted for a week.

It is sickening that when you watch this and similar shows to learn that cut backs, cut backs and more cut backs lead to a handful of Paramedics/Emergency Response crews to cover an entire city (or vast areas of countryside, or both) hence the long response times. These crews work tirelessly day an night to provide as instant a response as possible, but, there simply isn't enough if them. 🤨🤨🤨

Cut backs are a disgrace, my friend caught alight his fart with his lighter at a party and scorched his crack badly, we called the ambulance 4 hours later nothing so we had to drive him to A&E
