One of my favourite Muse songs especially that slow-paced middle section. That first clean part can be pretty tricky to get right and it needs quite a bit of practise.

Sounds great! Maybe it's just my ears, but you could lower the backing track and lift your own guitar more upfront, cause in some parts it's hard to always recognize what you're doing. But overall, a very nice cover!

Awesome cover of my all time favorite Muse song! I have that same guitar, too, so bonus points 🍻 Question about the tuning. Are the 7th and 6th string tuned to the same A or is it the 6th and 5th string that are tuned to the same A?
It's a 7 string in drop A, so it's just like a standard 6 string with a low A added on top. The low A is one octave lower than the A on regular guitar, so the same as the A on a bass.
@@sullun2241 actually not the same as the bass, the bass is a octave lower than the guitar, a tuned down guitar into bass octaves is not possible without a pedal

That triple A tuning is kinda weird. Why not just go for standard with the low A?
I can't remember the exact reason but probably to avoid having to mute one of the lower A-strings all the time when you play it on a 7-string.

Looks like he's playing a harmonic on the 4th and 5th fret. Or kinda in-between them. But it sounds like two 4rth harmonics followed by a 5th. But yeah I can't really see that well.
