You left some decent camera bits and pieces there. I'm one of the main car boot buyers of camera equipment from Oxfordshire across to South Wales and have made a tremendous amount of money selling it on eBay. It's taken me over ten years to gain the knowledge, but once you have it, it pays dividends. I haven't been on a car boot for two years though due to Covid. I'm hoping to get back out there this year at some point though. When you're in charity shops you might want to ask the assistant if they have any cameras, lenses, binoculars out back and usually they do. You'll rarely find them on the shelves because they need to be tested before they're sold. A lot of charity shops send off their cameras to their eBay team though so it swings in roundabouts. But if you don't ask you don't get! I've bought a lot of Leica lenses from charity shops and sold them for hundreds of pounds.
Just wanted to say thank you for the entertaining and informative content mate. I'm completely annihilating your videos at the moment. They're also really therapeutic to me having had a stroke so I can almost live vicariously through your travels. Thank you mate.
If you're looking for more expensive camera lenses, most Sigma lenses will easily be worth 50-100+ (look out for "HSM" on it - that means Hypersonic Motor, fancy tech)! Found a set of four Sigma lenses in a charity shop totalling just over a hundred pounds (they're identifiable by their signature black and gold colouring), as well as a Pentax K3 ii, totalling about £1000 in resell value. Very much worth the lookout.
@@RetroReselling George, the Canon EF lenses that you left are also worth buying when you see them. Other names to look out for in terms of lenses are:- Pentax, Carl Zeiss, Olympus, Leica, Minolta.
Is that Dunton? Lenses...look for Carl Zeiss, Jupiter, and Nikon. Keep your eyes out for Zeiss Jena and Russian binoculars too. Especially 6x30's...£300 plus You should have got the Russian watch too!
That guy was rude but you got to expect that at car boots. As soon as I clapped eyes on those Olympus cameras I would have been engaging with the seller how much for the lot and guarded them but hindsight is a wonderful thing atleast you got some 👍🏽
I have been selling full time for 4 years now & finding it harder & harder. I have seen a MASSIVE influx of resellers in the last two years. How are you finding it George?
Yeah there's always been competition, people come and go all the time but I'm always finding stuff and have a few connections so still going strong here personally
How do you deal with the guy who grabbed those cameras? I stopped going to my local bootsale because they're like vultures literally fighting and grabbing stuff out of your hands. As soon as a new car parks before they've even setup they surround the car like hyenas and start taking things out of the boot etc. Gives me anxiety so I've just stopped going :(
Yeah it's not great how some people act. I go on the basis of treating people how I'd want to be treated myself, that's why I don't go in people's boots as soon as they pull up or go hard on negotiations etc 😊
Hi George, I cant understand your facination with these folding picnic chairs. That one with the dodgy seat material should go straight in the skip. Lol Are they not expensive to ship. You said you like some meat on the bone but what is your profit on one of those. You rejected the vintage phone at £45. If it was a 200 type, I sold o e last week for £150! Surely more profit there. The BT Trimphone you got at £5 was a good buy though the dial speed looks too slow, but youll get your money back on that. Keep up the good work on the videos. Cheers
Wasn't expecting Hit Reseller™ George Ross to use an "oof" noise in a video, you're so down with the kids lol PS: You should remove the spam crypto comment chain. They start talking about "Williams Brown" which is funny because it sounds like the coat makers WIlliams & Brown, a classic charity shop find....
The fellow who grabbed the cameras from in front of you was absolutely rude - you handled it much better than I could have! Nice finds ~
Should have head butted him
5:01 .. I would have seen red. Fair play for keeping your cool
Mate would have been fuming at the guy pushing in on you at the cameras 😂🙈
He'd have gone home sore if he'd pushed me out the way like that. Bell end.

I didn’t think you’d buy that deckchair. Surely it will just rip straight across the second anyone sits on it.
My thoughts exactly. There’s no way you can salvage them unless they are reupholstered.

Thanks so much David really appreciate the support 😁😁

Wow that guy with the cameras. He wasn’t shy about grabbing them lol.
Survival of the fittest! Lol

honestly i feel your pain ..my latest vid i was saying how carboot etiquette has gone down the swanny lately
Yeah it's not great by some! My number 1 annoyance is people diving in people's boots as soon as they pull up! No need for it
Wow, that guy grabbing the cameras was very rude. Can't stand it when people are like this.
hi I just subscribed to your channel as I'm getting into buying and selling I'm from uk so thank you for your videos and knowledge 😊
Thanks so much! Welcome aboard 😁
Another great video ....love watching these ..
Thanks Colin! 😁
I think that black and yellow camera if its the one I am thinking of is worth alot
Thanks for your time

Definitely! Literally didn't have a second to think, it was literally grab what you can lol
Easily the best reseller on here, good luck George
Thanks Alan!! 😊
Which one the best Car boot sale? (To sell) I have a ton of stuff! I need to clear out my stock! Cheers
Another excellent video, enjoyed that. Nice pic ups.
Thanks Adam 😁
I picked up an Olympus MJU ii for £2 last week sold for £270🤑
Nice pickups there! Funnily enough I picked up a mju-ii with original case, mint for £2 last Sunday
Nice!!
Oh Jesus. You should have bought that whole box of cameras. The Konica C35 you grabbed and put back is £35-£45 all day.
Did you see how long that telephoto lens was? If they were selling it for any cheap, its always gonna be profit at that focal range!
Fantastic pick ups George! 👍. My friend had the phone you picked up back in the day! 😊
Loving your videos mate and you know your stuff 😁
Thanks so much 😁👍🏻
Some lovely pick ups mate
Thanks Lee 👍🏻
That jean display is really cool 😅
How much for the little Jean display sign George? I love that!
Just asking when you sell on eBay do you pay for promotion on most products
Hey, I do weekly promotions on eBay between 1-3% each time
If you have a lot of watches, pull the stopper out when not wearing it to save the battery from running out.
Great top heather 👍🏻👍🏻
Brilliant pick up's George. I hope you can get the power cord for the chess board, although if you sell as is that's a good profit 👌☺
Thanks Jayne! Found on eBay coming from America!

I think the camera grabber was fair game like you say you gotta be quick, you both made money happy days.
Yeah you can see that we both got a nice lot of cameras so both making money and the seller got their asking price

Matching vintage sets of chairs go for £60 in the right season, I'll happily pick them up every week for that profit
I subbed and gave Two thumbs up... Oh wait, I can only give 1 thumbs (like) 👍 up on this vid... I will save the other for your next vid!
I never seen you for a very long time and it’s weird I never watch you for a long time
Welcome back
Nice finds bro ..my Ebay has been taking off recently with sales . Is it worth doing international shipping please? (does it improve sales)
Awesome! Yes absolutely, if you can turn on eBay global shipping program (GSP)
