Thanks for posting. The buttons for the heated seats is starting to stick and I was thinking about fixing the buttons, but I might just replace the whole thing.

      Glad I could help.
When I found out, that the control panel from the 2016 model would fit, I had to do it, LOL!
It's so funny, because the display may only be a tiny bit bigger, but it makes a world of difference!

I just had to do this myself for the same reason.
What's with the awning over your infotainment screen?

It helps shade the sun off it, LOL!
I got it on eBay. It helps a little and looks cool... 😉🤣😂

Thanks for video. Month ago i bought Legacy 2019 with cheap manual climate control system. Can someone help to explain can i just change my manual control panel to automatic?

      That, I have no idea.
I'd say not, because the devices the unit would be trying to control, aren't present.

Thanks for making this video! I have a 2017 outback with the passenger seat warmer button stuck, would this be a solution to that? Looks like in order to get in there and clean it up so it wont stick anymore, this whole unit has to come out anyway?

Well, the seat warmer switches are integrated into the unit, so if you've tried cleaning the switch, and it just won't work, then yes, this would be the best way to fix it.
The unit is right around $200, but you might be able to find it cheaper on eBay etc...
