Thank you for this! 👍 Yes please, more inspiration for MJ4 would be great. I've been trying to get the paper quill effect but didn't know the words.... Come to think of it, that's mainly what it all comes down to now doesn't it. 🤔
This is quite interesting and scary to watch for someone who has been a designer for a really long time because these individual art styles and what AI can create now a days in few seconds usually takes a human to master number of years.
true, but on the other hand, now you can create in any style, rather than being limited to the styles you have learned to create. The good old "what would you create if you had every skill in the world" question is now reality. it's a artists dream :)
@@OlivioSarikas Yes that's why I requested you that video in my previous comments. I'm keen on learning and adapting to this new era of art because people have actually started to use it for commercial purposes already, I've heard.
@@Dzynerr yes, a lot of professionals already use it for ideas, prototyping and even finished designs. Some even use this now in many cases instead of stock images
@@OlivioSarikas I'm sorry, but I have to respectfully disagree. You say "create" but it's just the model doing the work. You haven't taken the time to truly create any of these images. The model is generating it for you, trained on countless of real people's copyrighted artworks that they spent hours or days creating, with skills that took them years or even decades to master. And now people are paying to use a model that wouldn't be worth a thing, had it not been trained on billions of art pieces, used without consent or compensation. Edit: Spelling
Haha! This 11 minute video turned into an hour long video because I had to brainstorm all my ideas while I paused each and every tip you gave. Wonderful video!
i decided to train my own version at home. yes, MJB has a nice style system - but paying $50/mo to keep my images private is a no go for me. i had to quit- and i enjoy my results much more, having trained them to specific styles on a local stable diffusion setup with a 3090.
Video suggestion: You notice portraits usually have no expression, I call it a dead look, or Flat Affect. I wanted to prompt just the smallest of smile. Smile or joy is to extreme. I found on google a word list of 240 facial expressions. Unfortunately, most are negative adjectives like frown, sad etc. Can you come up with words that can be added to a portrait that would adjust that blank look? Tip, I found the word CANDID worked for some of my older images. Just a little twinkle in the eye and a slight part of the lips. But it did not work on my other "portraits". Clearly V4 understands these expressions. Controlling expressions would be a great video topic. Thanks.l
This video is very versatile. Its my one of favorites. I think could been useful for Graphic Designers now how to use this tool to make for example cliparts. Thank you so much!
Good morning. I use by non milto Midjourney and am not very experienced. I use the v4 prompt for square images, and I'm looking for an equivalent command for 16: 9 images but I can't find it: does it exist? Thank you very much for any reply. 🙏
Moin Moin Olivio. My English is unfortunately no longer perfect, but you are great to listen to and understand well. You are a great inspiration for me and I thank you for your effort. Videos from you are a great joy and enrichment. Greetings from Northern Germany!
Great inspirations to try, doing them now ! yes please..do more. Also could you do a video on converting the line drawings to vectors as mentioned? Thanks so much.
Question! The image I saw in this video, of an ornamental watercolor of a lion --v 4. Could you use an uploaded image of yourself, say from a photo 📸 of you 🤔? Thanks
Totally agree. Now all we need if for this to create 3D VR models that you can explore in your headset. My guess: 1-2 years and we will have that in at least a basic version that can create rooms, people and landscapes - even if they are not interactive by then
Great lesson, like everything you do. With great impatience I look forward to further continuation and interesting new options. very helpful and informative. Thank you so much!
Is there a way of getting Midjourney to include the correct text? In the paper craft example, I try to include a text, but I get all sorts of variations.
These are all great effects, thanks for sharing them with us! I hope MidJourney V4 lets us use other aspect ratios soon - I'm finding it impossible to get what I want while we're only allowed a 1:1 square - most of my V3 images are 2:1, which for me is the perfect size. It will be here, but I hope it will be soon!
Have you tried the art term juxtaposition? I've had it as a word in the prompt list. I'm not sure it's being interpreted. Also not sure if Midjourney interprets diorama?
The law for copyright on style has already been set. Dave Grossman v.s Bortin, 3478 F. Supp. 1150 Nobody can own a style. Period. So AI using style reference is perfectly legal. The people trying to file lawsuits are going to find that out the hard way. Could you imagine? If style could be under copyright, every "artist" would be breaking the law. Because they all reference off other artists. Talk about shooting themselves in the foot.
This is probably a basic question, as I’m new to ai programs. If I am want the source material to solely be images created by me and merge those without the ai program referencing anyone else’s images, to create a new merge image, is that possible? If so which ai program(s) is best for that? Thanks
Nice video, it would be interesting other one with prompts for stable difussion as both technologies do not do same approach to images despite you use similar prompts
