    I thought there was an issue with the catch attempt and the booster was lowered into the ocean.

      I think the AI read "destined" and pronounced it as "designed". I'm just mad at being duped by a headline and image suggesting that they had Ship 31 in tow, only to get the same rehash of things we already know.

    SpaceX better recover every piece no matter how small or numerous if it wants to maintain its technological lead.
    You can bet foreign flagged ships will be passing through the area shortly afterwards sitting the waters for both tiny and large debris China could use to advance their space program. Any find could be crucial to skipping years of research and development.
