Hand making a sculpted leaf and scroll wedding ring.

In this video I take you through the process of making a sculpted leaf and scroll ring. It's made from recycled gold and hand made from start to finish.
To make this ring I melt some scrap gold and forge it out into a plain band then use a combination of engraving and chasing techniques to sculpt the design.
I'm Andrew Ashcroft, a master goldsmiths and engraver. I specialise in commission made wedding and engagement rings but I love all sorts of metal work and plan to explore more in future videos.
