When he eats the pineapple you can pin point the exact moment his realises he bit too much of the steaming hot pinapple and then thinks "ohhh stuff it" and eats the rest unapologetically. Love it Greg
@excessivemenace2611 I beg to differ. I think the Red Rooster ones are pretty damn good with the crumb like coating. The beer batter ones aren't all that great honestly.
I'm a big pineapple fritter fan. Tried the Maccas ones yesterday and was not impressed Am constantly impressed by the Red Rooster ones though. Theyre bigger, sweeter, crunchier, dont fall apart as you eat them and are a permanent menu item.
i had the aussie angus deluxe today. had to pay extra for tomato :( i put a pineapple fritter on it and it was the best maccas burger i've ever had. Its BIG too

Greg, you should set up a Greg’s Bar at your place. The same way you had Mark sitting there the other night on the livestream. Get them to taste test beers and have a yarn. Get some interesting stories from people while they’re on the booze. You’re a good people person. It’d work!
@@lisamcdonald1014 Umm, did you watch the video? He spoke of a pineapple yoghurt that used to be available on the shelves in woolworths/coles that you cannot get anymore. Thats what I was referring to - the passionfruit twist still exists tho
Technically McDonald's Pineapple sundae isn't new, back in 1991 McDonald's had a "Go troppo" theme going on , where for a limited time you could get banana thick shakes and pineapple sundaes.
greg will you ever do cooking shows again? i liked the old videos with the songs and the old schtick like putting your fingers on the hot frying pan or not being able to open the microwave door. can you do a bit of cooking now and then maybe?
i work at maccas, i tried the pineapple fritter and HATED it. I threw both of them in the bin after one bite.. its just strangely disgusting and it's not what I expected at all. SO GROSS!!! it doesnt go well with the fried coating, and considering its fried in the same area as the nuggets and all the chicken patties is weird (cause its sweet??).. the coating was weirddd.. I liked the pineapple sundae but the topping looks funny, we joked around with coworkers agreeing that it looks like vomit LMAOO everything is too expensive, thank god for that staff discount. this summer phase is such a flop, boring and bringing back items that were already on the menu. no one wants pineapple things .-. also red rooster already has pineapple fritters.
I’ll just stick to Red Rooster fritter Pineapple. Mc Donalds probably want keep it on the menu for long. Who remembers when the tropical pack from Red Rooster came with a fritter banana and a fritter pineapple . Bring it back
Can’t go past a Red Rooster Pineapple Fritter!
Yeah you can.
I'm with ya
Red rooters won't exist in the next 5yrs
Haven’t had them for years, but they were so good!
Come to FREDDY AKA MATTY!!!!!!!
When he eats the pineapple you can pin point the exact moment his realises he bit too much of the steaming hot pinapple and then thinks "ohhh stuff it" and eats the rest unapologetically. Love it Greg
No way Macca's, only RedRooster does a proper pineapple fritter.
A proper fish and chip shop does them better.
When did Pineapple fritters become a national favourite?
@excessivemenace2611 I beg to differ. I think the Red Rooster ones are pretty damn good with the crumb like coating. The beer batter ones aren't all that great honestly.
They should put the pineapple rings on a spicy burger and call it the Ring Stinger.
Habanero Sauce.
I think the price of the 2 items is a ring stinger😂
I'm a big pineapple fritter fan. Tried the Maccas ones yesterday and was not impressed Am constantly impressed by the Red Rooster ones though. Theyre bigger, sweeter, crunchier, dont fall apart as you eat them and are a permanent menu item.
LoL small ring you have GregO! 🤣
At least the soft serve ice cream machine wasn’t broken this time as it always seems to be Grego!
They are never broken. They just say that when they’re cleaning it.
Love the vids Grego, can you one day soon try the plain meat pie at the original Mudgeeraba bakery cooked in a wood fire brick oven?
They look smaller than the one's from red rooter. I'd be dipping them in the icecream, yummo 👍
Delish
I always thought pineapple was Gregs "safe" word. #420Grego

I wonder if Maccas is selling the pineapple fritter for us to add to the chicken burger
I love pineapple. It's a good anti inflammatory. I'd rather eat it from the can . Or a yummy fresh one. Thanks GregO. 🎵🎼
Pineapples stand for health and anti inflammatory
Bloody expensive . I checked the price of a large pineapple sundae at my local Maccas and it was $5.50!!!!
Give me a banana fritter any day .
I didn’t expect them to be that small. Looks like they should be $2 for 2!
Aren’t pineapple fritters at fish and chips places like $2.50 or $3.00 each or something. Though Maccas won on value for that, size looked similar.
" Whooper De Do Da" Been a while since I heard that line. 😂

In Canberra, they introduce a new / old range. Aussie Angus but have zero stock of beetroot and relish lol
I didn't know they grew bonsai pineapples!
Grown in the Philippines. The Dole brand comes to mind. Golden Circle (Aust) aren't any bigger. They're cut to size to fit the can.
You're right about the fritters not being sweet! They basically taste like Maccas Hot Apple Pies... Red Rooster's fritters are 10x better
Thanks for the food review Mate
Pineapple and Banana Fritters, used to be popular at Golden Fleece Road Houses
Jesus that's going back
I'd all but forgotten about Golden Fleece Road Houses

Maccas have sundae sizes now? I thought they only do that in America. What state are you from?
Greg. Go to besties takeaway in Nerang, you can get an old school works burger for $9! And a medium chips that feeds 3 for $5!
Excellent synthesis of ideas - that would be dynamite on a hamburger!
Love your videos

Yes, pineapple yoghurt was my favourite too 😢
Never mind, you tried
Hey Grego "Dairy Farmers have a Queensland Pineapple and passionfuit yogurt. That's as close as you will get these days. I like it!
We have Gippsland Dairy Caramel Twist Yoghurt available here in SA, its not too shabby
Omg yum!
3:43 😆
Greg next time add the pineapple fritter in the sundae, def a game changer!
Yeah I was thinking have a bite of the fritter then chase it with a bite of ice cream
Pine apple was waiting for this.
Greggooooo!!!
That pineapple yoghurt was fantastic!! I too found it and then it disappeared....
It’s not a yoghurt, it’s a sundae actually
They both talking about a pineapple yoghurt that existed years ago

Go for the growl, Greggo 😆
All of Greg-o's McDonald's seem to be of the new grim design. Do you know of any around there which retain the old more friendly design?
perhaps dunk the pineapple fritter into the sundae?
Mcdonalds is so expensive for what you get now!
Should dipped the pineapple fritter into the sundae
Very fresh and exciting
Technically McDonald's Pineapple sundae isn't new, back in 1991 McDonald's had a "Go troppo" theme going on , where for a limited time you could get banana thick shakes and pineapple sundaes.
My favourite is chocolate mint ice cream or strawberry..
Hey Greg I've been watching you since 2013, hope you're doing well mate
YummO 😊
Is the pineapple Aussie Grego?? otherwise form says no
probably from Vietnam, but I wouldn't have a clue!?
The Vanilla Sunda turned into a milkshake.
Freaking hot at the moment in Australia

I love you, Greg.
Add caramel to the pineapple fritters be great because it hsd salt in it then be salted caramel
😂 Cheers mate great review
Glad you enjoyed it

No pineapple burger though?
👍👍👍
Leave it to McDonald's in Australia to re-invent onion rings with pineapple!
Let's do it, GregO! 🙂
Yuk if it's salty! Way too pricey 🤨
That half a cup Sunday looks like its already been eaten

🎉🎉
still love ya grego

How much is the staff discount
It's -1 in UK right, some hot pineapple would be a real treat. Do pineapple grow in Australia?
Yes,in Queensland mainly
@@terenceseymour-tf8rptassie725 thought so with these 'the lot' burgers, that and beetroot
Did you weigh that on your truck bed in front of the entire store?
Maccas has turned into the biggest RIP OFF company of all time.
Tine to boycott these bastards!
Is the pineapple friddle in Australia?
What?
Can you weigh the takeaway bag and just subtract it from the overall weight?
Why? It weighs less than a gram.
Definitely weighs more than that@@excessivemenace2611
gday greg
The pineapple in the soft serve tastes like medicine cherry... medicine pineapple
I actually like the ice cream ain't tried the fritters tho maybe eat them with the ice cream would taste better
Maccas is overall not bad junk food, but the worst aspect is the high price and the small amount you receive for such a tiny meal.
It's fkn horrid.
I have a McDonald's literally across the road from me and I never go there.
Not bad junk food.
Its not bad.
Its possibly the worst
Buy a fritter and put it in a Chicken Big Mac.
McFritterMac
6 is an even number
I was the 200th like yeh!
The ice cream looks fine, but frying an obvious piece of canned pineapple for that price? To me that was not a "friiter".Pass.
Pineapple and chocolate sounds like a mid combo
Actually yeah Greggo that pineapple yogurt was one of my favourites too. Hmm why did they take it off the market? Mongrels !
What was the point in weighing these items?? 😂
I wonder if Michelle has recovered from her hangover.

So tiny & so expensive for the pineapple fritters! Got ripped off again! Fritters should be 50c each.
50c each? Are you still living in 2002 or something.
No, its 2024. There's no reason why it should be no more than 50c each. McDoanlds are ripping people off!@@haydencooper_
