WKRP S2, Ep 17 The Americanization of Ivan
Whoa! You're right?! Both of those !
@@ttacking_you There are several very close match ups between the two media workplace sitcoms. The Baseball Game episodes also line up so suspiciously well I can't believe there wasn't a copyright suit over it so it may have involved a common writer/producer on both staffs. This was once a fairly common thing in American TV scripting for a staff writer to re-use ideas from old series.
@@puirYorick there was also another British sitcom from about 20 years earlier than this about a guy based on Murdoch buying a news station . It was called "Hot" something ? Maybe "metal?" Or "box?" I forgot.
@@ttacking_you Sure. It's a popular trope. Newsradio, WKRP, Mary Tyler Moore / Lou Grant, Sports Night, The Great Indoors (with Stephen Fry as the eccentric wealthy owner) each had varying success.
It because my family eats delicious dead ☠️ things seriously 😳
That's unenviable.
