USA, I am in Salt Lake City. Boating is fine with my family. But when I saw the syncro. I like to have one. I like to learn more about it. But keep your video coming. I just love the out door and those information and view. Thanks
great vid, I've been looking at so many 2wd westfalia's and some syncro's but they're so expensive! this will suit me way better and it's more incognito! Combined with the rooftop tent you'll be able to take your mates for a weekend of offroading and camping. GREAT!
I wish the Doka was a cheap alternative but here in the USA Dokas, if you can find one are expensive. Would love to have one and it is on my list of must have VW's.
I did not realise that the VW tables were hard to get and expensive. I had one which was just an annoyance to me and gave it away. In fact I almost threw it away!
Most have around 150,000 miles on the gearbox and they will need a rebuild, The viscous coupling is usually shot, Front CV joints cost loads, Most people drive them past their capabilities and they break, The standard engines are really under powered so you always want an upgrade that costs thousands, And most importantly there is loads of cool bling you can buy for them that you dont need hehehehehe.... I say £15,000 is what you need to spend on a good one or buy cheap spend the difference...
Alright bud what sort of cash will it cost me for one of those rocknroll beds and have you got any prices back regarding load bed covers, think he would be interested in making one of those tent type backs as they are rocking horse poop!!!
I don't think inverters are a good idea because you are converting from 12V to 240V to whatever you need which may only be 5V for a mobile phone charger of 19V for a computer. It is illogical. Therefore a direct conversion to what you need is better. I got an inverter which does this from Maplins for GBP36 (or thereabouts).
