A Kahana showed me a Lua unassuming technique. You are standing with arms folded across your chest like you are protecting your aura. With the fore fingers on both hands pressing the sides of your chest. It is a calming technique.

Anyways - the demonstrations of Kapu Kuialua in the video is a good one. my father when he taught me Kapu Kuialua used that name as did his father before him and so on. We called the bathroom, lua.

Lua was also used to literally bite the throats out of your enemies in combat, but ya know, it's mostly about self defense... >.>

Aloha Kakou, my name Is Ryan and I grew up on the west side of Oahu “Waianae” and I wanted to ask if any of you know how me and my son Kekilakahi could join “Kapu Kuialua” classes we are of native Hawaiian descent and want to get rooted into our culture. If any of you could give me some info on what I could do it would be greatly appreciated it. Mahalo for your Time and Have a Blessed Day! Aloha A Hui Hou!

if you use the word Lua by itself it refers to the bathroom. The proper term is Kapu Kuialua or Kuialua for short

Perhaps if you actually read my comments then you would already know that i already know that. Unlike others, my father taught me the proper grammer of my people's language as opposed to being lazy in one's speech like some makaʻainana. Saying a word has many meanings is no excuse for not using proper grammer, it is properly - kanaka ʻoiwi, kanaka maoli or hawaiʻi maoli.

Perhaps then you would know that hawaiian words can have many different meanings. But thats ok. Huna na mea huna.
