Remember when everyone believed Gematsu based on some lucky guesses? Because of Omni people will actually have to leak gameplay for it to be seen as undoubtably real now. He's a hero.

John John Gematsu was correct, they just had outdated info from very early in development. This is prevalent in the fact that Bowser Jr. barely made the cut & the fact that a Rhythm Heaven character was planned (proven via data miners).
It's honestly disappointing that no one has even come close to this level of detail for a smash ultimate leak yet. This is probably the greatest fake leak of all time.

So now that things are starting to settle down a bit, I wanted to just take the time to say that I'm completely overwhelmed by the fact that so many people have given a positive response to this whole thing. It's been a real encouragement to me that despite my effort to try to deceive people, people out there still support me and my work!
And though there has been a good deal of negative response as well, I probably deserve the hate that's coming my way, and that's something that I'll just have to deal with.
Contrary to some popular opinions, I do have day jobs where I strive to use my abilities for more productive things. =P And as such, my schedule is typically pretty busy. So while I can't promise that future Smash art will come as fast as I'd like it to, I WILL make it happen. I've been insensitive to a lot of people's feelings about a game and community that we're all passionate about, and the least I can do to make up for it is commit myself to a project that gives back to the community.
So again, my sincerest apologies for toying with people, and I hope I can make it up to you all. I'm grateful to those who are willing to forgive me.

This is beyond amazing, and in my honest opinion, completely makes up for the fact the leak was fabricated.
On that note, *1:* You should be hired in Nintendo (this is me speaking without knowing your background or current occupation, but really, you highhandedly managed to produce content that managed to convince everybody, you know what you're doing sir!)
And *2:* I can't wait to see what future projects you have in store if any; your process was just a spectacle to see, and it was almost shocking to believe that the results were even possible.
Though, for *3:* It'd be nice if Nintendo followed up by introducing Rayman as a character. Oh well, I guess I can keep watching the leak on repeat...

You made it seem like a really believable leak that people took to heart, and you uploaded that fake video that made people really believe it. Well if he had just put up that video, no one would have noticed it, and that's the whole point of what he did; he's advertising his talent. Ok, so people are mad, rustled and butthurt over this, but you know what? I take my hat off, this leak was incredibly well done and extremely convincing, you proved the Internet that we can't even trust video leaks anymore and that we should now become a lot more skeptical than what we already are.
You have done a truly amazing job, congratulations
Honestly, whether people see it as annoying them or not, you're right. Artsy Omni pretty much confirmed that nobody should take a leak as real unless confirmed. However, too many people continue to do so anyway, and end up getting hurt when the leak turns out fake.
Those of you resorting to death threats or hoping he "burns in hell," should be ashamed of yourselves. You aren't, but you should be.
It's a hell of a gamble, I'll give him that. That much effort led to some extremely convincing content that shows off the quality of his work and got him mainstream headlines. I make extremely time-intensive content about games, I mostly try to be fair about everything and make entertaining and insightful videos, and I've yet to get a peep of attention for it from any larger sites. Controversy really can create a buzz.
That said, no matter how far he goes from here, he'll ALWAYS be known as the guy who did this, and there will always be a hatedom calling for his head. It's a hell of a double-edged sword, too. I'm interested to see the results.
It goes without saying, you know you made it big on RUclips when internet users starts wishing you are dead without knowing you personally.

That or the leak was so realistic that even the Ubisoft reps weren't sure what was going on because it could be a project from a department under a non-disclosure agreement or nintendo breaking copyright law, so they needed to call the office to check cause even they weren't sure.

Curly and Quote have basically the same abilities and can use the same weapon. If Nicalis someday makes more games for Nintendo it could appear. If a Smash Bros game somehow appears again(sakurai doesn't want to touch smash bros again).

Nah, it would've been much less believable as Smash developers already placed Ridley as a stage gimmick, as well as deny the possibility of it being a character for it's large size.

Since Smash Wii U modding is becoming more and more advanced Rayman in smash could be possible it'll just take some time for modders to do such a thing at this point in time
