You do not have to be a Hokie fan, or a Husker to appreciate the magnitude of this game and the excitement that was generated in the final minutes! Tyrod Taylor showed some special talent not to mention a set of stones throwing first the 81 yard completion with Suh in his face THEN throwing the touch down after scrambling first left then coming back right only to have Suh dragging him to the turf by his jersey but still gets off the throw while even the announcer says "throw it away". Suh is arguably one of the most potentially dominating defensive linemen we have seen in quite some time! All you have to be is a fan of the sport to appreciate the emotions generated by the drama of reality! That being said.... LET'S GO HOKIES!!!!!!!
That was one of the best games I've ever had the pleasure to watch and relive now. Same sentiments towards Nebraska fans as the comment from years ago. They have a ton of sportsmanship and good character. Good luck in the Big-12North(big 10's name is a misnomer)
Thanks for posting the extended clip. What a great day. And this was also a reminder of how tech fans and the huge group of Nebraska fans got along that day. Nice to see the neb fans in the clip clapping for tech after the game. Classy- after such a disappointing last min finish. I remember in the next weeks there were several letters from neb fans printed in the Roanoke newspaper saying how well they had been treated by the tech fans. -it’s probably time to reinstitute the “Hokies Respect” campaign.
I was there. It was even more amazing in person (of course). The Nebraska fans were really nice as well. It was the game where Tyrod Taylor supplanted Michael Vick as the greatest QB in Virginia Tech history. Mike was the most ELECTRIC player of all time. But Tyrod was a better QB.
As a VT fan I can name many great VT players. But any true fan of any school can name plenty of great players that went to their particular favorite school.
always wondering why after lee's throw with 19secs left was called a penalty and the time was never put back on the clock. wasnt gonna matter. just stupid if ya ask me
@@blxbrg2169 because Nebraska is historically a a blue blood and is better. I’m just giving out the obvious a big boy program shouldn’t be losing to a program like Virginia Tech.

@Ron Swanson I would agree Ron! This game was incredible! Having Tyrod do what he did to secure the win at the end was simply amazing!
Very well said
I'm not even fan of the sport (just started watching, plus foreigner) but see and appreciate everything
Love Tyrod Taylor. One of my favorite Hokies of all time.
Same here. I was so happy that my #5 jersey represents him, instead of the guy that wore it in 2005
Absolutely my favorite of all time. Smooth operator is what come to mind when I hear his name mentioned.
One of my all time favorites as well, just a crazy amount of talent. Loved watching him play
At least the Nebraska fans were good sports about it all. That's very respectful of them :)

I am a Hokie fan and after all these years this sequence gives me chills.
You see at end of game Tyrod looking for opposing QB? He is a great player and has a lot of respect and it shows here and in the NFL....GO TYROD!!!!
Nebraska fans are top class 100, we hope to start another series one day
Agree 100 percent, Nebraska fans were top notch people. Hopefully we can get together again sometime
wow i cannot believe we lost this game. great game all around :(

Goosebumps. I freaking loved this ending. HOLY COW. Karma for the 2007 BC killer ending
It's good we scored later. Gave Nebraska less time to score.

That was a really surprising ending because usually when tech is in tho situation, they blow it and lose
yep. wish TT wish just audible every play

Beamer got MAD 😂
Go Hokies
at 7:12 it looks like the score is 16-16
its 54-55 yards dude
and... he almost overthrew him. probably could throw it 65 mayby 70
no the play was blown dead
dude, that was only a 40 yard pass. WOOPPY. -_-*
Well, is there any competition? I mean naming great VT players is like naming famous female inventors.
Intelligent comment,
Nebraska got robbed in this game
Not flaming just curious why you think Nebraska got robbed? I was there and this is the first time I think I have ever heard this.
