  • How's this for a cool new technique.... I've called it the Shaving Cream Galaxy technique because thats what this background looks like to me. This was a "happy accident" that occurred after playing with the good old shaving cream technique that we know and love. For more details visit my blog at www.lhiggins.blogspot.com and be sure to hit the "Subscribe" button here on RUclips to see more of my tutorials and ideas. Enjoy the video!

    What a wonderful idea. Kudos to your husband for suggesting you use the cream instead of throwing it out. A must try in my future.

    I realize this is years old LOL But... I HAD to say that Hands Down, without doubt, absolutely, this is the BEST think I have ever seen on a card making video! Actually, it is the coolest technique I have seen in ANY art making video and I have seen decades worth!! LOL Thank you so much for sharing, and I LOVED the build up to the reveal, it did not disappoint :D
    AND, that *circle* one to me looks like the earth from space! So...just the opposite view from earth looking into the stars which has added even more interest if possible to this :)

    Hello, no males in household, but will now be going shopping for shaving cream. :) :) Seems like a little messy but I will love the outcome & can't wait to give it a try. Love the idea of leaving it overnight and then putting paper/card stock on top to get the galaxy effect. Be safe & TYFS

    I did this back before Easter and cut my Easter Eggs from it. they were beautiful. I like it better than first dip...If it dries up you can wet it with water and get even more from it. Love your background colors for the outer space look.

    Hi Linda, do you need to "set" the shaving creme with hairspray or anything to stop it rubbing off (like Brushos or pastels)? Thanks.

    • @lindastamps2009
      @lindastamps2009  2 года назад

    • @lindastamps2009

      No I haven’t..... mainly because I don’t sell them. But they might work because they are water based?

      I found it! Actually I have no idea how that might work as I’ve never tried it. Might be worth an experimental session :)
