    I was taught to press another piece of cs into the shaving cream that is on your first piece of cs - you then get two for one pieces of coloured cs.

    I liked all three of the results of this shaving cream background method. These would be such effective backgrounds. Yes I agree the green would make great leaves 🍁

    You mix your shaving cream way more than I do. I take a ghost print from the initial print. Then I take other prints from the plate, before any more mixing. I think the coloring is about the suspension of die to the shaving foam. I tend to blot the color off instead of scraping. It is a totally different look.

    Absolutely great for leaves with that batch that sat for a while. Loved the first two you pulled also. I can see I have got to get messy!

    This is awesome, I love the effects it makes. Could you just leave the shaving cream on the card for texture or do you think it would flake off.

      Thanks, you could always try out any ideas you may have, but you do need to remove the excess product in order for it to dry effectively!

    I love the idea, but the prints looked better after you removed the foam from the card and before you used a paper towel on them. Perhaps letting the cards dry awhile before rubbing the foam off with the towel.

    Hi Christine, I absolutely love the shaving foam backgrounds you made! I think they would be great to use for die cutting as well. I really like the last few green cards you colored. I like the bubble look before you spread the color with your knife. It looked very textured. You sure made a nice variety. Thanks for sharing your fun.🌷🌷

      I wonder what effect would result if the “old” green pressings were just flipped over onto paper toweling, and then gently lifted. Ooo … or onto a gel plate? OR, just onto another piece of card stock?!? (Wonder if my fella would miss home-cooked meals if I turned the kitchen into a craft room?? 🤔 😂 🤫 😉👍)

    The green ‘overnight’ texture, before you wiped the excess, would make fabulous foliage. What result would you get if you let it dry before scraping? Might have to try this one!

    • @Chrissieannie
      @Chrissieannie  2 года назад

      I don't add anything to the inside of a card unless specifically requested to do so. I can't bear the trite messages that are often inside commercial cards and prefer to use that space for a handwritten personal message. If I do get a request for a message inside a card it is added on an insert.
