  • A simple homemade recipe for making strong CITRUS TINCTURE on moonshine. New Year is just around the corner, so I decided to put a simple, but at the same time VERY TASTY, tincture on the zest of citrus fruits. In this video, you will find a complete guide and step-by-step recipe for making a strong citrus liqueur at home.
    Ingredients:
    1. Moonshine double distillation, strength 43% - 16.8 liters
    2. Dried zest with 2 oranges
    3. Dried zest with 3 lemons
    4. Dried zest from 1 grapefruit
    5. Dried zest with 5 tangerines
    Homemade recipe: dilute the moonshine in a prepared jar to a strength of 43%. We get 16.8 liters of double-distilled moonshine. Next, add the zest of citrus fruits, chopping them beforehand. The tincture is a mix of dried peel of oranges, tangerines, lemons and one grapefruit. Grind the whole zest and add it to our moonshine. We seal the jar with tincture, shake thoroughly and remove to infuse for a period of 2 weeks.
    The main advantage of citrus infusion is that, despite its simplicity, it is still a quick infusion. Since citrus essential oils perfectly absorb the smell and taste of moonshine. Therefore, after a couple of weeks, ato and earlier 😉 the tincture can be consumed. I recommend to strain it after insisting and pour it into a glass container.
