Watching Sonny reconnect and rebuild his relationship with his dad just for things to end this way is truly heartbreaking. Mike is only getting worse. Sonny isn't ready to let him go.
I feel like this is elder abuse, I hope not but it kinda feels that way to me, dementia patients can't tell what happened and Dr just accept what abusers says what happened.
What a refreshing storyline. I've watched soaps off and on for 40 years, but I don't remember any storyline that *I'VE* seen that focuses on an elderly mom or dad and their son or daughter seeing them deteriorate right before their eyes in a nursing home.
This is heart breaking. I'm watching someone really close go through this. He is a brilliant man, he retired almost 5 years ago only to have his life taken slowly from him. And that's what this diseases does, it takes pieces of you until there's nothing left to take. It's crazy because around the same time this storyline started this happened. I'm in tears as I write and watch this because I know as Mike's time comes to an end so does my love one.
I like how Sonny left his mob connections out of this. He didn’t make any threats or use violence to get what he wants. Seeing him connect with his father at the end was brilliant. Maurice Bernard has been wonderful during all his years with GH but this may very well be his best work yet.
Lost my Grandmother to Alzheimer's 7 years ago. She went from the sweetest woman to someone I no longer knew. She became violent and unpredictable so my Grandfather finally agreed to put her in assisted living. He was by her side everyday til she passed away. They were married 70 years when she passed. My Grandfather is now 98 years old and constantly says he's ready to go be with his Dorothy again, it breaks my heart.
There is no true test for Alzheimers because alzheimers is not a specific thing they are looking for and its a last resort diagnosis often times...so many will be misdiagnose...the vast majority will be misdiagnose because its really a disease from Colombia and we're not living there geographically.. Its all theory till today. Most will retain their memory and do great for a lifetime.
They do not need to kill Mike off but let it be his daddy's brother that he never knew existed, and he comes looking for Mike and finds Sonny believing he is Sonny's father but actually is Sonny's uncle. I want Mike to live and most of us does. They are having Mikes funeral when the real Mikes turns up, He tells Sonny he has been in prison for a few years because of embezzlement and did not want him to know.
Mike and Sonny those are one of my favorite father and son moments
Brooklyn was a welcomed presence. They truly have done this S/L justice.

They are doing such a good job with this storyline. I work with people who have dementia. I have to say good job to the writers!!!
Kudos to Brook Lynn for spending time with her elders.
This made me cry.....
My ❤️💔😢😭 for Mike & sonny!
I love Brook Lyn this was a great.
Brook Lynn obviously cares for the elderly. She should work in a nursing home if the singing thing doesn't work.
Brooklyn I like her relationship with Sonny & his dad. Lulu sucks
Feel real bad for sonny

Heartbreaking! 😢😢😢

This was hard to watch my dad went thru the same thing before he passed away the exact same thing. 😭😭😭😭😭
Me too with my grandmom. 😢
May God 🙏 bless you
Just watched judgement day with this actor Sonny's dad in it. Crying Omgoodness
Poor Mike
So sad and heartbreaking for sonny.😭😭💔
This is the only time that Brooklyn has compassion for other people.
Yes!!!
I kinda like the Sonny, Mike storyline. Reminded me of my grandmom at the nursing home a couple of years ago. #RIPGRANDMOM 😔😥
Brook Lynn is honestly my favourite character in GH right now ❤
Emmy Award Winning Episode!!
Poor Mike! 😥
This killed me today! I watched it hours ago & still cant pull myself outta the sadness

Great job brook
Mike is playing the hell out this storyline
I'm crying I feel sad for sonny
Why don't they have bars on each side of the bed so he doesn't fall out? This is so sad. I love the characters Sonny and Mike as son and father.

When it comes to social issue storylines. No soap can top General Hospital. Period.
Great job 👏
Sonny got to let his dad go in peace he can't be no more

I believe that if he would start dreaming of MIKE . He can direct him back to his self and to Carly.
Is that y brook gave up sing cause mike is gone 🎤⬆️
No. When Nelle slashed her throat, it ruined her ability to sing.
😢😢😢
Lets go soldier
Watch this April 22/2020 wed. 5.58 am. Very sad . Love you all .tom.k.
At least mike and sunny made up again ⬆️
The ONLY good storyline on GH right now.
Good story line but so so sad☹️
Yes & Yes. I Have A Feeling That By December, Mike Will Still Be Alive.

I Knew It.
Did Holly die in real life?
I hate Max Gail as Mike. I hate they didn't give Ron Hale enough of an incentive to come back. And I hate what they've done to Mike.
