This was a really emotional day for Bri. We are so proud of Landon and how smart and sweet he has become! And while it was obviously a tough day for Bri, I'm really proud of how she honored her dad and celebrates his life.

I always tell my son to “love the lonely”. Meaning, be aware of who is sitting by themselves or playing alone and be a friend to them. Never let anyone be alone, show them love.

Loved this video! I have missed your day in the life videos. I find them so motivating and inspirational and this video was perfect to watch on my Sunday morning as I prep for my week ahead with the first day of school, gymnastics and getting back onto our daily schedule and me waking up at 5am. Thank you so much!

I was thinking the same thing. I know I have showed up at my daughter's drop off sleep deprived and looking awful. When I see someone who is dressed very cutely I look at them and think, wow she must really have it together. How does she get up and get dressed and get the kids ready and I feel kind of bad. Which is truly ridiculous because I choose to sleep in later therefore I look homeless lol!

11:47 - 11:51 is the best! she pushes the drawer back and and closes the door, she is such a good girl & so adorable! your such a great mom Bri :)
after that part in the video right after shes covering up the dog with blankets and pillows, the fact that she didn't cover his head under any pillows or blankets is so awesome, shes such a smart girl!

  • @jenn_81
    @jenn_81 5 лет назад +32

I know exactly why she looked at you that way, and it’s bc she’s jealous!! It’s not an excuse whatsoever! You speaking on it really made me reflect on how I can be. I’m the mom struggling to get shoes on in the mornings and be out the door on time, let alone have makeup on and look presentable. So, that would have been me, but not in a mean way AT ALL. My look would have been like “how do you do it?!”
Hypocritically, I’m constantly teaching mine to reach out to kids sitting alone or if they’re looking sad! You’re so right! We need to teach these things! Kids are so impressionable by what they see of their parents. I need to do better! You are doing great and you didn’t deserve that look...remember it’s not your fault you have your life organized 😉😘

That situation with the other mom made me think of a quote from King of queens: "I will not let the rage of others destroy the light in me." I know it's hard to not let things like that get to you - especially when you're already feeling down. You are amazing just the way you are. There will always be people who don't seem to like you, but that's their problem, not yours. You go, girl! ❤️

Brianna, your kids are just absolutely beautiful! And you are too......inside and out. Don't let unhappy people out in the world get you down. I guess we all need to send up a little prayer for people that are so unhappy with themselves that they feel they need to react in an ugly manner toward others. You have such a sweet, beautiful spirit, and if that woman knew you, she would see that right away. This was a great vlog, and I love the birthday celebration for your sweet dad! What a special memory you are helping create for your kids to carry with them through life! ❤️

My daughter just started high school, but I still recall her first day of PreK like it was yesterday!. You have such beautiful kids. A few tips are to prep as much as possible the night before . I always made a point of writing her lunch notes with love, every single day. I had another Mom criticize me for looking put together on my school runs. Fact was, I was also training and working in health care at the time, and had to look professional every morning. People can pick on the smallest things, sometimes, and it says far more about their insecurities, than anything about you. The school run struggle can be real some days. But, we are all doing our best!. Thanks for sharing your beautiful life x

Hang in there Bri! I lost my Dad in March of 2017 and there are still those bad days, but they get fewer and get a little easier as time goes by. Of course birthdays and holidays are the hardest, but when we watch them go through such sickness it’s always good to know they’re no longer suffering and are in a much better place. Praying for peace and healing as you work through the grieving process. God bless!

Hello, so I've always been a fan of your channel but I normally don't comment but today as I watched your video it hit home. I just lost my dad last Thursday and everything about this video touched my heart. I feel so lost right now and seeing you make it through such a difficult time gives me hope. I just wanna say thank you for being a inspiration and helping those who are struggling with depression. Btw I am so sorry about your loss, losing a parent is devastating and I know your pain.

So cute! Enjoy those moments and all those firsts before you know it they are grown and gone. My baby is 4 hours away in his second year of law school. I still remember those first days of school. One of the hardest was the last day for my youngest in elementary school, I loved that school and felt like I was losing my home.

When I saw you about to cry, I wanted so much to reach through the screen and give you a big hug. Plus, a shoulder to cry on.
For my son it is different than it was last year. He is in Kindergarten now. We get him up at 6:30, a bath, brush teeth, get dressed, have breakfast, and then outside for the bus at 7:10.
One of the things that I loved was the baby monitor that had a video screen. So, you could not only hear your baby, but also see it as well. Wipe warmer and a bottle sanitizer.
I can not believe it has been 5 years since my son was a baby. I am also getting the feels.

I remember in the months after my grandma passed away, she was on Hospice as well, but it's picking up the pieces and going on that is the hardest. She actually passed on my cousin's birthday and the day before a huge hurricane hit NC last year, so she definitely went out with a bang as we like to say. So she passed right before Thanksgiving, Christmas and her birthday was in January so all of the hard times came at us all at one time. Keep your head up Bri and always look back to the good times, because they are truly what gets you through those tough days. Much love to you and your family.

I struggle with this. I was a very young mom and my daughter attended private school. I was in a totally different stage of life that the other moms and constantly struggled to prove myself. I also didn't know how to organize my life in such a way to get myself together, keep my house clean, work full time, manage my money, and be a good mom. Your videos have honestly helped me so much in getting myself together and being a great mom. I don't know why this woman looked poorly at you. However, don't stop being you! You help so many people. Who knows, despite the rocky start, this woman may end up being a great friend one day and you'll laugh about this later.
Also, keep it up with cherishing every moment!! My oldest is in tenth grade and I'm so aware of how quickly the time is passing.

I remember having my baby 2 weeks before my daughter started preschool - she really wanted her “mommy “ to take her the first day! My mom drove us and I walked her in she was so excited and ran right in as I was walking out this size 0 mom looked at me and said “ omg you still haven’t had that baby” I was so shocked that I just walked past her burst into tears and my mom said it’s only 2 hours and I couldn’t talk I was so upset that when I finally told my mom- she wanted to turn around and yell at that mom! Lol you will always be a mama bear to your kids❤️❤️ Even when they have their own kids!

I know your dad is watching over you everyday and he is proud of you. Thank you for sharing him in your videos he seemed like the sweetest dad and grandpa.

You are stunning....and your family is beautiful.
I lost my Mom in May this year....and it is so hard. I try and keep smiling for my husband and kids.. but you do have those moments when you just really miss them.
God bless you. May your heart be filled with memories of joy and love. 🙏🏾

Bless your heart you are such a sweet person!! You have such a good heart! I cried through your video bc I definitely feel your pain with loosing your daddy I lost mine 3 years ago. It will get better eventually of course the first year is the roughest with out him, and every girl always wants her dad but I will keep you in my prayers.

Happy Birthday to your dad🙏🏻 A good idea is writing a letter and putting it in a ballon and sending it to your dad in heaven🎈 Woman shaming is horrible no matter what you will get a look. You have to be confident in yourself and not let it get to you. Can’t imagine what it will be like when having a kid and the mom shaming😬 Love you Bri keep your head up🙏🏻❤️

1st: You are beautiful, kind, hard-working, and deserve to always surround yourself with positivity and love. 2nd: I’m and anxious soul. At all moments of my day I’m on high alert for negative energies. Sometimes I truly feel negativity, others I think my anxiety creates it in my head. Because of my anxiety, I’ve caught myself saying something or looking at someone in a way I didn’t mean too! My head is in a completely different space but yet my body is acting on autopilot. I’d love to believe that this woman, for your sake, was just wrapped up in another stress of her world. My New Years resolution this was was to assume the positive in all others. It has helped me not chew on the little negative things in life. It’s helped me not to perseverate over possible negatives or what ifs. I hope that you’re feeling better about this encounter! PS- your outfits are bomb, and I’ve catch myself staring at ya making a mental note on how to recreate that outfit. I hope you had a wonderful weekend, and happy heavenly birthday to your daddy. 🥰😘

I totally know what you mean. I try to teach my daughter better too. I hear from the staff at school she's usually the kid going up to the ones who don't have anyone to play with and saying hi. It makes me so proud of her 💜💜
