    Love it for Voiceover,
Especially when you use the AW81S pop filter,
It can be EQ'd to be near to the SM7B

The majority of presidential speeches use this microphone and wind screen set up, yet typically they use dual Sm57s. And then if you go back to 70s era a lot of live singers would utilize that set up as well , sm57with the foam when screen

Hello thanks for your comparisons. To me the sm57 with the a2ws windscreen sounds better than the sm58 out of the box. Sm57 is less nasal and less muddy and much clearer! Cheers from Italy!

I am glad it helped make up your mind. That's the idea behind these videos. To make a fair unbiased comparison.

Great video ! Im definitely was looking into getting a sm57. I do have a question tho, I currently got my hands on a Sony F-112 and was curious if you knew anything about it or could tell me if it would work for a streaming purpose/vocals in general. Thank you in advance ^-^

Well, any microphone will do in the absence of others. - It's an omnidirectional mic, meaning that if you move around in front of the mic it should still pick up your voice more or less consistently without a louder pickup signal directly in.front of the mic. Also, depending on your unique voice characteristics, this mic may or may not be the most suitable mic for your voice. So you have to try it and see how it sounds on your voice.

Would you recommend using this mic at a 45 degree angle or straight on aimed up like you have it.

Well, using the mic at a 45 degree angle will reduce the plosives but may also have a negative impact on the desired proximity effect, depending on how far you like to be from the mic. With a good pop filter it shouldn't matter if you're speaking or singing straight into it at close proximity. Hope this helps.
