I think what lifts Den above even Sho-go and D-Low in musicality is that it seems like Den builds the song by putting the song first, then builds the structure and inserts technical beats and bass where and only When they feel appropriate for the final Arrangement. Which is why his wildcard/ battle rounds don't "hit" live like everyone expects. He doesn't follow the typical intro - buildup - drop - buildup - final drop like everyone else because that's not his goal . Other beatboxers think about what special sounds they want to show and create arrangements for maximum point value by piecing together high scoring sections. Because Den creates by focusing on his music and how he wants the whole arrangement to be presented as one piece, then deciding what sounds are needed to achieve what he hears in his head, the final result feels so complete and easy to listen to for fellow beatboxers and general audience alike.
I've listened to a lot of beatboxing but nothing compares to Den. It's like I'm listening to a Weeknd album.

Start with the OGs of beatbox hip hop. Slick Rick and Doug E Fresh “The Show.” Then get some variety in metalcore. “Pisces” (studio version) by Jinjer.

@@runitback8248 I know these guys quite well , but what I was looking after is getting their opinion and insights on some of my favorite beatbox routines not their first reactions. There are so many reactions that have are of so little substance, but Improver and Taras take their time and breakdown each little element , wich I like .

They were asking for some ideas and I gave them some ideas of routines I would like to get their opinion on, instead I get you telling me "no, not a chance" they surely don't need you to answer for them like you know what they have seen or not seen. Maybe you should give your on comments on what you would like to see rather than shooting down others ideas and input. Have a nice day and try to be a little more positive , it doesn't cost anythinh

Interesting so your thinking real beatbox is singing and mixing beatbox into it? It’s definitely new to me as I’ve seen more of that percussion side of beatbox and melody only sometimes. This is nice and smooth on the ears.

Stumbling on this in 2024 funny in retrospect to see how heavily this moment influenced today and where these guys headed. Taras saying to much technique sounds like shit but structure and musical intent can make it beautiful. Just funny they werent listening to the guys like Tom Thum and Beardyman who were super musical, beardymans musical type beatbox is why he won in 06, and Tom Thum is like the cleanest living orchestra with a live loop makes super stuff. Den is amazing i love his stuff too. Very R&B Den is the barry white of beatbox with the love songs. Taras and Improver i hope you do a mix with Tom Thum... im waiting for that.
