Nothing is wrong with a generic story. Sure it's not unique but what matters is how the individual reading it enjoys it. I personally found the opening generic as well and following the same tropes as many others. But I still enjoyed it in the same way that I love playing D&D and how we always seem to start our journeys in a tavern with some cloaked old man in the corner offering some strange quest or rumor. It's generic as they come but I love to play anyway. I hope to see more from this as while the writer may not have all of the most original ideas they're clearly having fun with the story while taking it seriously enough to keep the plot moving.
As his weapon choice wasn’t bad I would of gone a with a tactical rifle with extra megs for both a DMR a tactical rifle that can be used in CQB and long range attacks and a sidearm such as a colt1911 tactical, the pit viper, glock45 or glock19 , or the PP9 ( Germanys standard hand gun)
I've dived into vast amounts of fantastic recap presentations_ for me this presentation smashes them all_ this "1st Class" presentation is a masterpiece... The narrator sounds very manly but soothing_ the abundant panels compliment the recitation enabling a visual storyline flow also the sound effects add another level up exciting the imagination and of course one my favourite bonuses for me are of course a looped background soundtrack which puts me in the zone_ THANK YOU MC you're a Legend... 👍Liked & ✍️ Sub'd...
I've also seen a few other manga and novels where an isekai'd MC is clueless about even the most basic fantasy things like never having heard of an Adventurers Guild before - a place where people can complete job for money - despite having just come from modern Japan. I mean... really? Seems absurd.
BTW: There's no way that girl at the start was a princess - as in a girl from a royal family. Granted, her family was undoubtedly nobility. Her house was a large mansion and she was accompanied by a butler/body guard, so maybe her father was a Viscount, Margrave/Marquis, Duke or something like that. But a King or Emperor would live in something grander and better defended like a castle. And even a small, poor kingdom would have more guards and troops to protect her.

Well, at least the artist did not go with a literal bikini armor trope.

There's also a manga (or manhwa) called Release That Witch that has been recapped extensively on Manhwa Explorer's channel that is a fantastic story about an engineer reincarnated into a medieval world. He's currently 65 videos into it totalling dozens of hours. It's definitely worth the watch if you get a chance! The title on the channel itself is something like Engineer Reincarnates into Medieval World with Witches it something like that.
Isekai with modern guns is actually practical from a modern man. Actually quite nice except for the normalizing slavery aspect which I always find uncomfortable. I would understand it if its a regression or a reincarnation from the same world to accept it, but for a person from this era, it totally gives a sour taste knowing its history.
Have you ever watched the anime Saving 80,000 Gold In Another World For My Retirement or another anime called Gate? Both are fantastic "guns in a medieval world" stories, though Saving 80,000 Gold is a bit more campy and has a Slice of Life twist to much of it, while Gate is much more epic in terms of world building and depth of story.
Forgot to mention there's also The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated In Another World As An Aristocrat, which is a lot more similar to this story in terms of the basic premise compared to the other two anime I mentioned.
Ohh... And I DEFINITELY forgot to mention a peak "Guns in Medieval Times" manga that you could check out (that hasn't become an anime yet) and it's called "Release That Witch" - Manga Explorer has been doing a deep-dive on that manga and has released 65 recap videos so far totalling dozens of hours with a new 30-60 minute video releasing every 2-4 days. It's an amazing series that is definitely worth checking out! Basic premise is an engineer transmigrates into the body of a prince and there's several factions vying for power with each having their own motivations for doing so, there's mystery and intrigue, and there's a ton of world- building for background and kingdom-building for a story plotline; it's an amazing story and you should definitely check it out.

I mean.. the dude is using magic bullets, so at that point all bets are off. "I want my magic bullet to not have bullet drop and I want it to instantly reach the target so I don't have to lead it" are physics/rifle mechanics breaking possibilities once you introduce magic/divine power into the equation.

I was just referencing that animes rarely pay attention to things like fire rates or how many bullets are in a magazine just look at Hellsing Alucards pistol has multiple scenes where its firing like a machine gun then every so often gets reloaded after firing 20-30 shots.

That way they can keep the powerful guild members under their thumb. Kill them before they leave the country. Have enough soldiers to force them to act right. This is what I thought of when the guy didn't fill out his guild card. And then he reveals everything once the boss demon shows up. This is a good manga where they reward him, but it could go the other way if someone up high wants to be a micromanager.

The man know he is in fantasy world but he's not collecting information but he choose to shoots some random animal just to have fun collecting points 3. Choosing a slave base on how he pity the slave states not by their stats and potential performance(the plot is kinda forcefully to make the mc meets that one random slave girl to be side characters for mc)
1. The guy who got knocked out was her guard, he just sucked 2. He has to get bullet points so he can keep living, if he runs out he can't fight 3. He's just a kind person
