that crowd had no idea
So dead, that was the first thing I noticed. 😂
this band is so ridiculously good...super underrated
Criminally underrated
Agreed. Those first two albums, musically were insane!
Dudes i was in the crowd near the front and it was awesome, whoever recorded this hasn't mic'd up the crowd or even the band properly, it was an awesome show and the crowd you just cant tell because of the shoddy audio recording by whoever shot this.
im sure the front row was, but ive seen em ten times and all other places the whole venue almost gets torn down, and everyone dances and knows the words. its obvious 80 percent of the crowd isnt even moving, shitty recording or not
even a bad recording would show people moving or not.
For real, I went to the Portland show in 2015. Every. Last. Person was bouncing all the way in the back
this video just proves how great of a frontman Max Bemis is
I would be overwhelmed with emotion. Yelling, crying, and raging.
from other comments of other songs of their playlist that are on here peopel are saying that they did not mic the crowd
i wish this lineup would reassemble
watching this post break up it hurts
Strolling thru old say anything too huh?
Dude, I remember seeing them at The Recher in Towson MD and the entire crowd knew every lyric to EVERY song including songs from In Defense (i cant remember which album it was, it's been awhile) that had only come out a few months earlier. Awesome fuckin band.
+Gonzo Charvel I miss Recher :'(
+Miranda Those were the days, love.
The scream. Solid performance.
vocals could be a little bit louder. My only issue. Other than that amazing performance. Especially Max's scream at 1:41. That was godly.
So glad that every year I've seen them, the venue gets packed and the crowd goes absolutely nuts. That's probably why they always come back to the same spot every year for us. Incredible band!
Saw them last year in Chicago. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH! Literally made my whole year. Going again.
This is insane... actually better than the album version, as if that was even possible
you must be deaf then. you can barely hear anything on this recording. the only thing to appreciate is their genuine emotion they show while playing
Yogan Yog umm okay if you say so
"umm" everyone else in the comments is saying so as well.... theyre my favorite band in the world, so dont even step. just walk it off...
if youve seen them live then you know they are the best live experience ever, and it sounds nothing at all like this "professionally" shot video. they will blow your ears out. i watched it just because they show more passion than almost any other band
Okay then... im not looking for an argument, I just thought it sounded great personally, /because/ of that passion and emotion he puts in... you're entitled to your opinion, that's cool.
The band gave it 100% and the crowd are just standing there like a bunch of idiots. Such a poor effort on the spectators behalf.
so badass
This crowd for sure HAD NO IDEA. Whew
I probably watch this video at least 5 times a week
So was fire
Bro that crowd ass, Beemdog going hard.
Here is Say Anything!
Crazy people make the best musicians.
2:10 had to be the greatest stage dancing I've ever seen.
try seeing this band in a small venue like the cats cradle in NC. ive been there to se them 5 times and its less than a quarter of the size of this place and everyone is goin fucking insane, not standing there, still as a plank. ive been to so many shows and each one of the SA shows at Cat's were the most energetic experiences ive ever had. glad i finally met bemis at the last one for hebrews
from other comments of other songs of their playlist that are on here peopel are saying that they did not mic the crowd
but even though that is the case the crowd looks like they went because someone got them tickets not because they wanted to
Trying to see them at cats in January
That’s because nobody gets with it like we do here in north cack
they carted MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH
So good.
Anyone who can listen to this song live and not get energetic is dead inside. Completely dead inside.
Sometimes I wonder why whatever engineer got the multi tracks didn't feel like spending 4 minutes on level and eq
Crowd makes me sick.
The lack of crowd involvement is horrendous. Is this just common for the UK?
Agreed; I would lose my mind hearing this song live.
Max should exhibit this vocal range on an album!
Lol one of the guitarists fucked up in the beginning
did they play first at 6am what's with the crowd!?
If Pitchfork review Is A Real Boy now they would probably give it a 9 though...
i just wanted to add me and my future wife were at the front of this :D FUGUYZZZ
ITS 2021 AND I WANT TO SAY THAT WAS A DEAD CROWD BRO! Hope you and your wife are happy though :)
no need to cry about it mate
Love this song but dayum the guitars got all fucked up at the beginning. They really don't need so many guitars playing the same part, there's one live vid of this song and I think there's literally 3 guitarists playing the same thing at once.
omg max is so thin who is that guy lmfao
Wow that crowd sucks
This crowd is sooooo lame. My spastic movements would have been quite out of place. O.O Who doesn't move during SA?
I lose my shit when SA play this at a show... can't believe these kids in the audience... #shameful
might get hate for this comment but i liked them better when i saw them in 2007.... didn't enjoy this..
Crowd makes me ashamed to be English. I wonder how many of them had actually heard of Say Anything before they were announced on the lineup
the instrumentation on their songs is great. I dont like his live singing though. hes barely trying and good showmanship does not make up for it.
Crowd is fucking dead. That's pathetic.
prob one of the worst decades for music
