Can you lock the bedroom doors from outside? I'm bringing my ESA and for purposes of her being scared or wanting to run out of the dorm at any second, I'd like to keep her locked in my room when I'm not around.
You have to push and turn the lock button when you first move in and that will cause the door to automatically lock every time you close it. You can use your key to unlock your door then and no one else will have access to your room.
@Autumn Bradley I do not know the exact number, however, from my understanding there are many more 4 bed singles. Last fall, I applied for housing very late (around april when it opened in february) and I was also a transfer student so I'm pretty sure I just got the short end of the stick. I just re applied for housing today, so I'm hoping I'll get into a 4 bed. All of my friends I've met have not been in a 2 bed quad, so I think it's safe to say they try to use all of the 4beds first and just put overflow in the quads. Both of my previous roommates that transferred out were placed in 4 beds. :)
what building do you live in? I'm just curious if all the rooms in your building ar the same as yours. I am transferring this semester and I am going this summer. I will be living in north lake.
I was in building E last year and all of the rooms in building E are shared with another person. This year I'm in building P and I have my own single room. It just depends on the building, I'm not sure of all the buildings that are shared but if one of them in the building is shared then all of the rooms in that building will be!
Hello! The price does not include a meal plan, I cook myself. Personally, I feel that the meal plans are not worth it, but it's up to whether you would like to purchase one or not.

Just seeing this- most upper level students live off campus, I chose to live on campus because I'm paying for my housing with a student loan!
