Man, what a crazy place to ride! Glad you didn't pick anything up in there! Haha, I don't even have the faring on my 500. Anyway, fun video with the exploration!
Used to always have bikes with fairings then along came the Tuono and never looked back. Last three bikes been naked and now looking at the new Honda Hornet. I don't miss the bikes with fairings, maybe if i was on the motorway a lot then that would be different. I ride in winter UK but wear good winter kit so don't really feel the cold too much. Oh, and naked bikes do look cool, hence now why they sell so many.
We had some warm days for the winter between 15-16 C (50-60 Freedomheit) this weekend. I took my windshield off to swap my turn signal assembly and rode without the windshield. Very nice, I enjoy seeing the bike without the ugly windshield. Also, I wouldn’t mind some commentary style vids. Often I listen to videos in the background. So the on-screen footage doesn’t always matter to me as long as the commentary is good listening
The only reason I might ever consider adding one of those universal windscreens onto my CB125F is to try and save my 40yo back a little on the freeway. I semi-regularly blast between Gippsland and Melbourne on the 125, and it'll manage 100km/h for the most part, but it requires a half decent tuck. If I sit up, my body basically becomes a parachute and I can easily lose 15km/h top speed. I'm not exaggerating when I say my bike will struggle to get above 85km/h without a tuck. I've managed without a windscreen for 2 years and ~13,500km on this bike so far, and every time I consider it I come to the conclusion that it's not really worth it. If I really want to go a little faster, I'll jump on the Duke.
To get to 140-175 mph or 225-281 kph on a naked motorcycle a full tuck is needed and the arms also need to be organized and in the correct position with loose hands A tight fitting full leather suit is best at those speeds on a naked motorcycle with level 2 pads too This full suit helps deal with drag and cross drag
that’s funny as, that factory I’ve been to a few times and taken my car in there for some private gymkhana activities, of course approved by the landlords fyi**
Your channel mate, so you do you, just like you did with your little explore both in this video, and a few videos back. If it's got to do with anything with engines, wheels, and is even remotely interesting, we'll watch. I'd put money on the wheels being optional too, if it involved some interesting engines. To be honest, windscreens have a place. I don't think that place is cruisers though. My last bike had a screen, and I took it off. As soon as I did, the death wobbles that started at about 80, and got progressively worse, were no longer an issue. As for at speed, 175km/h, no screen, and 16 inch apes is........an adventure. 😁 To be clear, that was on a drag strip, not public roads. I may be crazy, but I'm not stupid, plus I like my license too much. Haha
what I want to know... with a fully faired bike and a naked version, (with identical engines and tunes) how much better is the fuel economy with the Faired version? when I brought my bike, I was thinking of going for the naked bike, The faired one looks good, but the naked was more my style, but as it turned out they were both too small as far as the frame was concerned, so I ended up going for the ADV with the same engine, just so I could be comfortable (the ADVness gave me options for playtime, which I have definately been exploring and the mods to the bike reflect that, but at the time of purchase I was only thinking more about the reason I wanted a bike... Congestion!) I have always wondered how much less fuel the lighter more streamlined bike uses! (not that I'm complaining about 31km/L)

@@MurffSurff well, i dont ho that fast as i literally cannot on the rebel hahaha, and if i had the means the afp would delete me
@ what is afp and don’t ride like that very often and only on empty roads
You need the wind to build up that core. Gotta get those washboard abs somehow.
its the only way
How about review of the Honda Grom 😊
Id do it if I had access to one haha

Well, anything over legal speeds tends to feel nicer with fairings and proper positioning hahaha
cheers for the heads up!
