This video is so well done! I am not able to hike any longer and your video enabled me to imagine myself hiking up to one of my favorite places in the world again! Thank you and enjoy your health and youth!! It's a wonderful world!
wow! so beautiful! I never seen like this waterfall so unique! my husband have a dream to move to California from New York. He likes live surrounding by nature! Your voice is so calm and nice so make your video is more great!
I hiked it 50 some years ago 7 Falls without the rope. Very hairy at times and I slipped off a cliff and somehow, someway, I lifted myself up from falling severely down to the rock floor, by Two Fingers. Impossible, but God did me a Miracle that day! Thank you Lord.
I used to do the trail maintenance on that trail and the other front country and back country trails arround there. Still live in the area. Many of those trails connect to back country trails that continue into to San Rafael and Dick Smiths wilderness.
Very nice!! will make sure to check it out next time I'm in the SB area. Probably won't have much water in the hotter months I imagine, but worth the beautiful hike(s) nonetheless I'd say!
Great video California is so beautifully. Im looking to move to Southern California once I get enough money to do so but I am worried about snakes should I bring something when I go hiking to keep them at bay like a walking stick.
I have been on hundreds of hiking trails and only seen snakes a half dozen or so times. If you are worried about them you can bring a hiking stick though like you said
Just keep an eye out and make sure to look down and to the side. Can't hurt to have a walking stick as well, but your biggest way to be safe is just keep an eye out.
I used to go there a lot in the late 70's and 80's. I try to avoid the known places. There are still a few hidden Gems the new people or out of towners don't know about. I check from time to time to see if people find them. But so far they are still hidden gems.
Thanks so much for the great video! That is such a pretty trail! What is the prettiest trail in California, in your opinion? A lot of people will say Mt. Tamalpais, but we really like the Palomarin.
Both great trails, it is hard to pick for me! Here is a video I made on some of my favorite summits in CA though ruclips.net/video/rHlX060JTDs/видео.html
It took me about an hour to get to the top of Inspiration Point. It was probably about 3 hours total to go to the waterfall and stuff but you can prob hike it faster if you are not taking lots of video clips like me haha
Oh my god I never dreamed of the day my back yard would be making money for somebody on RUclips change is change first bicycles invasion now RUclips invasion .Not for me to many people .

Enjoyed the video. Will be doing this hike soon. Thanks..
Lived in SB in the 70s and 80s. I hiked and enjoyed the falls and pools. Also maintained parts of the trial with the YACC.
805 local here!! Definitely try out the Santa Paula punch bowls hike and stop by Rabalais for some yummy beignets and coffee!!
It has been on my list but I still haven't made it yet. Hopefully soon! Thanks for the coffee tip too!
I’m kicking myself that I missed this when I lived in SB during high school. Maybe I’ll get a chance to try it at my 60th reunion next year!
Sounds like a great time to go!

Nice day hike.
The top you pointed in the beginning of the video is Arlington peak, extremely challenging but rewarding trail
It’s a hard hike I was born and raised there

Beautiful!
Happy New Year!!!
Very cool. I live in Ventura snd never heard of that trail though SB is so close. Thanks goff etc posting
No problem, it was a really nice trail. Parking is tough though
The rain sure made the views very clear. You can see for miles. Great video Josh!
Yea, it was so clear after the rain for sure!
Great video man. Looks like a fun hike with a great view. Thanks for sharing the waterfalls as well
You bet!
Love your channel, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome 😎 ty for posting
Glad you enjoyed it
did this one in June, and even though it was a cool day (at least at the shore) it was REALLY hot
I can't imagine how hot it would be in the summer!
Thank You. Ever been to Plaskett Creek Campground and the view out to the Pacific Coast ?
Thanks
Nice Video Thank You 👍 Grüße Michael

Yea, the waterfall is probably not worth it in the hot months as I am sure it is dry
The Falls looks like the Punch Bowl falls in Santa Paula.. about 45 miles southeast.

Great to keep those spots unknown!

@@californiathroughmylens Thank you!
Are there any trails that you have not done yet.....that are on your bucket list? I'm amazed that there are so many trails in the state of Ca.
So many trails left to do. California is pretty much a hikers paradise!
Tried to do it when we were there 2 months ago, but couldnt find parking, so opted for the botanical garden down the street. Bummer
You mentioned bikes, are mountain bikes allowed on the ridable sections of the trail?
I am not sure but I think they are probably allowed on some of them as I saw a couple on the trail. Def double check that though
Beautiful! What is the round trip mileage to inspiration point (without the 7 falls adventure?)
It is 3.5 miles round trip just to Inspiration Point
@@californiathroughmylens great! Thank you!
7 Falls looks tough 😧
How many hours was the complete hike?

@@californiathroughmylens thanks a lot man, always love your videos

How are you?
I took the side roads home once was wondering why so many cars 🤣 harmon canyon in Ventura has the bell tning too if riding bikes ill pass
Good to know that the bells were for bikes. That's what I thought but I wasn't 100% sure
Wow, that's different. No graffiti.
I know right, always love hiking outside of the LA area
There is not a more incredible place in America than Santa Barbara
Santa Barbara is a pretty amazing place for sure
I was born and grew up here. Lucky me!!!!!!!!
