Jack and Keith are two amazing people. They're extremely knowledgeable about high-end audio, have great critical listening skills but most importantly, are just friendly down-to-earth people. They possess the complete set of skills and resources to get create the best audio systems. I'm very glad to see their decades of passion for audio presented like this. Hi Drago, I would need some room dimensions and a bit of an idea as to where your sound system is located in that L-shaped room. But essentially, you want to know where the bass is populating in the room, and you want to treat the first points of reflection. Also, put some diffusion up behind the hi-fi system between the speakers on the front wall. That is a good start, and you will audibly hear quite a difference once that is done. As for fine-tuning a room, it really is a matter of being in there listening to your system and working out exactly what is needed and where. Unfortunately, all I can do is give you the basics. The basic formula will always improve the sound, but getting it perfect is a matter of being there, as I said above, and anyone telling you differently is simply lying to you. You just basically need to know what you're doing as an acoustician and know what to treat. There are so many rooms I go into that are overtreated, and they just sound dead!!! Getting just the right amount of treatment in a room is the art of the game. The rule of thumb here is you want the sound reproduction to sound as close to the live performance as possible, and that comes from going to life performances, understanding what you're hearing and then you have a reference as to what you're trying to copy. Amazing how this supposed state of the art equipment with outboard power supplies seems still quite under designed for ultimate sonic and performance qualities by their implementers as they apparently look to fix shortcomings with a battery based power system that is easily not the finest power solution for all components
Hi David, First, can I ask how you perceive CH precisions use of separate power supplies in their 10 series, which is the flagship as being "quite under designed"? The next point I'd like to question you on is how a battery based power system is fixing shortcomings in these components? Let me offer you my position here. The battery based power isolation system they are using is not there to fix any shortcomings in any of the componentry you see in this video, which I might add is, in my opinion, some of the best high-end audio components currently available today. It's there, as is the case with anyone using a battery based isolation system, to fix any inherent issues with the power grid that is out of the end users' control. The Philippines unfortunately has an unreliable and dirty power generation and distribution network, so I completely agree with Jack and Keith using this system to clean up the power. And let me tell you, after being in the room and listening to that system for several hours using the battery isolation system, their decision to use it is absolutely justified.
@@shanestephenson8423 no doubt CH PRECISION in my opinion is far ahead of many others. Complete agreement that the power feed most everywhere is not up to many audio enthusiasts standards. I create through my designed power circuits virtually perfect power for everything in my systems that has none of the shortcomings of marketplace power conditioners, battery based systems, or filters. While each of those has sets of compromises that affect adversely the sound and its perceived presentation and yes many times it's better to have some of those market solutions than the simple grid but they all fall quite short of making possible the best realized sonic presentations possible. This is quite easy to demonstrate and these technologies and means and methods could be employed in other than just my builds and designs. I do not believe there is a component in existence even at the highest level today that would not perform better in several aspects with these technologies packages installed

Yes it's difficult I tried to normalise the volumes as best I could, but in some of these sections on the video I'm close to the microphone and on others I was quite a ways from the microphone so that's the best that could be done.👍🎧🙂
