- Mother tongue is vital in framing the thinking and emotions of people. Learning to speak in the mother tongue is very necessary for a child's comprehensive development. Being fluent in the mother tongue, which is also known as the native language, benefits the child in numerous ways.

It's all for the tribe...it's important for our own mother tongue
I will be ever grateful to my hostel roommate for first teaching me Chungli Ao. Now I can speak both Chungli and Mongsen.
This drama is showing about Ao mother tongue dialect. But let this be a lesson to all the tribes, not only in Nagaland but to every tribes from different places. Unless we learn it for ourselves, we cant never teach the next generation of what it is or what it means. Thank you Aoyimti Youth Ministry for the meaningful drama video. God bless you all.
I'm not from Ao community but I can understand Ao since I was study there for 3years😊 god bless u all😊
Sunep learn Ao language within 6 months that's why he missed his office 😊😊😊 i think he really love Naro thats why he gave his efforts that's the women power in Love... I really love this video ... thank you Aoyimti Youth Ministry...may our good Lord continue to bless you all 🙏

Lots of love from Mokokchung Longkhum village...
3:51 Rev Fredrick best part with his Mongsen dialogue😂😂😂
without the role of rev Fredrik it's like without salt in a curry 😅😅😅 great message to all the tribes particularly Ao .. everywhere we ao's speak in nagamese ..sumi people are the best in nagaland ..they never speak in nagamese among themselves....
U r right 💯
Ku tiningla nung kongshiokonooo..ya dangar dang masu Dimapur aser kma nung alirtem dang sayuranoo.. lanurtema taiako saka ajakji tsurabur taianoo.. ya meyanglushira asen Ao oshi ya samatsua. Hats off to Aoyimti youth ministry👌👍👍
Going through some comments seems like some people really missed the point here. The moral of the story is actually the importance of knowing your own mother tongue and not keeping a condition to marry someone on the basis of language. Being in a state where we have many tribes, clans, and subclans our culture, tradition, mother tongue, etc. becomes our identity and that's what makes us unique from the rest of the world. I belong to Ao community and we have two major languages, Mongsen and Chungli and it varies from village to village. I speak Mongsen but yet I'm still trying to learn Chungli because that is also a part of my identity. That's all it is. Peace out.
So much love ❤....🤗🤗😁being Konyak we face this challenge. We konyaks are so vast,we have 168 villages and counting, each village speaking different dialects except for some areas with some similarities in their dialects. This compels us to learn one common mother tongue which is very complex for this generation...😢
👍👍
Learning a common language doesn't mean to give up ones own dialect which many kids are today....
Since my bf is konyak, I'm very very interested in his culture. However i have no idea about the marriage rules and regulations and i wonder if it is possible for a konyak guy to marry a girl from totally different tribe outside Nagaland?
Right now i don't want to bombard him with marriage questions cuz he's going through lots. So please kindly help🙏
@@oyemtatin4200 there is no such rules that Naga tribes cannot marry a person from other tribe outside Nagaland. We are not like Mizos.
Yes , this is absolutely soo true ❤️ we must preserve our culture and traditions ... Nowadays I see people from village especially youngsters going to town's and when they coke back after some years they start speaking in nagamese saying they forgot their mother tongue which is a very shameful thing ... I'm soooo glad that they came up with this idea of making this short movie❤️ thank you ❤️
👍👍👍
I'm speechless😑
Such a wonderful deep story 💯
Kanga.. Junger👍
May God bless Asen Aoyimti youth ministry😇
In my neighborhood a 3 year old kid was speaking only English..as his parents taught or brought him up like that.
It's good that the kid speak fluent English but first he must be taught to learn thier own dialect at home.
English can be learn later on at schools but that's not the case for learning our own dialect✌️
Exactly! I was about to comment the same.
That's point
Cho chakhesang manu khan kohima choto bosti te thaka khan learn from here....Thank you Aoyimti Youth the best youth n colony in dimapur.
,,,,,,😂😂😂🙏🏻
This is a great message !!
Many youths of today's generation of all tribes don't have any idea to speak their own mother tongue 💔 which is a very shameful thing to us.
Youths don't concentrate on their own mother tongue.
Great Message @Aoyimiti Youth ☺️❤️

As a Conservative, i am proud that the Churches are encouraging traditional values and customs and letting us the importance of mother tongue
Applies to every tribe. Good lesson imparted for everyone to learn from this video. 😇😇😇
I'm so much touched by this video being in a community where there' are varieties of dialects or languages spoken among one tribe. And 99% of today's youngsters doesn't know what is mother tongue or common language.
I'm talking about my tribe (konyak), we are unity in diversity but when we look into our mother tongue, it is endangered 😭
What a precious message!! Thankyou to all the team.💛
Thank you Aoyimti Youth Ministry for such an inspiring message for people like me who don't know how to speak their own mother tongue. From today onwards I'll learn to speak my own mother tongue (Sangtam)😁. May the good Lord that we serve continue to bless you all.✌🏽
Very well made and thank you for subtitles, I'm from angami community👍🏼 reminded me of my cousin brothers 🤣 who only speaks nagamese lol. I'll share them this video
Hitting the exact point. One should preserve his/her identity, culture and their own mother language. We are recognised by our culture and language.

Sorry, I don't understand a sentence of "Ao", a beautiful Naga dialect.
But I still follow the subtitles & the hilarious acting & well refined speech of all the casts and now my funny bones are tickled. 😄😆
Great message showcasing our youth's lingual problem(s) in a hilarious way. 👍👍
.
Vive la Aoyimti Youth Ministry and Dreamz Unlimited 🙏
Good work.
GBU 4 spreading awareness.
Nagamese is bengali, slowly we need to start banning it in schools n colleges.
Start with the youngs n in 15 years l70 % will start following ur idea.
Make ao or angami the common language according to population or the majority in the capital. Avoid jealousy n tribalism.
I am very grateful n thankful this videos,iam appreciate,May God bless u all👏

Love this short video, short yet convey every little important message with humor which makes it interesting. An Angami here
Many people teach their children with English or Nagamese rather than mother tongue thinking its impressive and high and respectable thing. In reality those parents shows their stupidity to others. Heads off to the group for coming up with this idea.

Just wanted to share this because after going through the comment section, I came across an interesting topic. Ok so, what i have understood was that, even though the PM stated that he was/is not against any local dialect he was indirectly hinting out that it(mother tongue) is also not necessary.
And also to back up my claims I have few points to follow up.
Firstly, If I am not mistaken, learning our own dialect is way more easier than any other dialects/or languages. What I am trying to say is that, before geting hyped for the main exams we should also not forget to do our home work.
Secondly, a special thanks to our brother staying outside our tribal villages) sharing us such valuable lessons because in this world of technology, who would have known the importance of Nagamese and English without some aliens mentioning about it.
Also My apologies for the bad English because it's not my first language and also if my statement is unacceptable. Peace✌✌
God bless you all Aoyimti youth.
Hope n pray like mother toungue Folk dance of our very own too are preserve n not copy from others 👍🏻👍🏻 salute aoyimti
