- Prime Minister James Marape says the Papua New Guinea government will not tolerant the use of foreign security companies on Manus.
Marape made these comments after Oro Governor Gary Juffa raised concerns in parliament of a possible renewal of the Paladin Security Contract.
The Australian-owned security company leads most of the security operations at the accommodation sites for refugees and asylum seekers in Manus province.
